Spotted a perfect destination for Misal in Kothrud!Tried dum misal for the first time at this place.Loved the smoky flavor which the the coal gave to tarri. Best part is, they serve unlimited tarri, onion, and matki. Vadapav and chai are good too. Tasty food at reasonable prices.

Misal here is a great plate full of elements. The taste is nice and spicy. Spiciness can be adjusted based upon request at the time or ordering. Great for a breakfast and has a very polite and humble owner.
They have 2 types of misals, with other variant as pot misal. I prefer no nonsense, straight and simple way of misal so went for regular misal thali.I liked that mixture of farsan, tomatoes and onions was served without any sample/rassa in it. Also boiled matki is served separately. It helped keeping the crunch for long.You are served with a huge bucket of rassa with tarri.The taste is amazing and the rassa bucket keeps you going.Jilebi and curd in the thali compliments very well.Staff is very polite and ensures good service.Pretty spacious as compared to other misal joints in Pune.
This place is located just in Shivaji Maharaj statue chowk at kothrud, next to yeshwant rao chavan natya gruha.They have many more things on menu but i tried their Misal.A misal thali comes with farsan with chopped onion in it, red tarri/rassa, curd, mataki, paav , jalebi and cucumber and lemon.Nice taste of misal , in red curry. I visited the place recently for the first time. As a misal fan I must say I liked their taste. The spiceness level is just right unlike too much of red chilly water at other places. Their farsan is right mixture with many sprouts. Overall I loved it. Also they have expanded and taken a bigger shop space with improved seating capacity as told by owner who is very sweet and personally guides you on menu.
