Maratha Village is an awesome Thali place to have Maharashtrian style food. Whenever I visit I opt for Chicken Thali which has dry chicken and gravy chicken prepared in typical Maharashtrian style which is my favourite. The staff is very good and extremely polite. There are ladies cooking hot Bhakri and Chapatis in open. I loved the concept. You get a very comfortable and homely feeling while dining at Maratha Villeage.They have 2 outlets in Pune and both are nice. They also have great variety for vegetarians. I can’t wait to go back!!!

Although expensive, the food is really good and delectable. The bhakris are spot on and so are the items with chicken and mutton. A slight reduction in price will be good.
Visited this place twice In a week .. must try lasooni methi and shev bhaji .. loved these two veg dishes .. I recommend evryone to try lasooni methi .. looking to visit again to try out nonveg thali..
We tried Chicken Handi, Dal Fry, Indrayani rice and chapati Roti.I went there as I heard it’s good, BUT I got disappointed.:( Could be betterI have tried several places so you can take my words or read my earlier reviews.Indrayani rice was good.And chicken soup (aalni) was fantastic.
Food is good.. especially the chapats and bhakaris are prepared in front that too on Chulha..Chicken was ok.. was not spicy as expected..Solakadhi was big mistake.. it was very sweet and was tasting like some sort of cold drink..Service was prompt but was not good as we didn’t get rassa when asked.. we were asked to buy handi instead by the waiter.. however the owner said if we would have informed him earlier, he could have served the rassa..Food 3/5Ambience 4/5Service 1.5/5
