It’d be a 4.5Yin Yang is a cozy, lovely place with courteous and knowledgeable staff. The food was absolutely delicious, and had a great time visiting this place. Tried out the following:1) Ramen Noodles soup: had both the vegetarian and non vegetarian variations. The broth had a great depth of flavour. The umami was just on point, and the addition of pok choy, ramen noodles, the silky tofu and succulent chicken made this soup perfect for a chilly winter night.2) Yuzen ae salada: a Japanese salad, with carrot, cucumber and some raw papaya. Loved the tempura crunch, but didn’t like the salad much as such. The miso flavour wasn’t very strong, and the salad overall got a little too creamy and tasted like a coleslaw.3) Bangkok crispy lotus stem: Just yummy! Very different from other lotus stem dishes you get in the city. First off, the size of the lotus stem is bigger. It is super crunchy and a perfect mix of sweet and spicy, with a hint of curry leaf. My absolute favourite and highly recommended!4) Beijing street chilli chicken: loved the presentation on this one. The chicken and veggies both were quite well cooked. Just like a perfect homely chilli chicken, nothing to complain!5) Mixed veg twist dumplings: A very different take on dumplings, with some blanched spinach, diced corn and hint of cheese. It may not suit everyone’s palate, but I personally loved it! I’d suggest trying this out with the spring onion pepper sauce.6) Chicken basil flavoured dumplings: Ah amazing! The chicken was so perfectly cooked, and the subtle hit of basil just takes you to heaven! Also, what I loved about both the dumplings was the super thin wrapper. 7) Crispy Chicken Kasto: I am not a huge fan of baos, but the bao at Yin Yang is just so soft and beautiful. And with that super crunchy chicken and sweet garlic powder, it was an absolute treat! Just felt that the chicken could have been cooked a little bit lesser, it seemed a wee bit overcooked.8) Yin Yang House Uramaki: A refreshing palate cleanser. I am not a fan of vegetarian sushi, but this one was really really refreshing and the cream cheese was also yum. 9) Ebi Tempura Uramaki: I love prawn tempura sushi. This was good, but felt that the prawn was overcooked. 10) Khow Suey: Who doesnt love an awesome Khow suey? The Khow Suey at Yin Yang is a must try. The delicately spiced coconut curry complements the perfectly cooked noodles extremely well! An absolute pleasure to eat!11) Nasi Goreng: I have had the Nasi Goreng in Indonesia, and I can say that the one at Yin Yang is pretty close to the authentic dish. Fried rice with Indonesian condiments, eggs, is a perfect mix of flavours. Can be enjoyed best with a spicy, soy-sauce based curry. 12) Mango pudding: I love mangoes and I love puddings! This one had a great texture, but was a little too sweet for me. It tasted a little like an aamrakhand, without the cardamom. 13) Coconut creme caramel: I just loved this dessert! Bitter caramel with a creamy pudding and subtle hint of coconut. Wow just delicious! What I loved about Yin Yang was the that the staff had good knowledge of the cuisine they were serving, and they really explain to you about the dishes. Had the opportunity to interact with the head chef as well, who told me about how they procured only the high quality ingredients, and imported a lot of their ingredients such as the lotus stem. I also loved the variety in plating. Usually, places serve their dishes in only one kind of plate but Yin Yang has a diverse variety of plates. Great place, hope to come back soon!

I had heard great stuff about this place and thought of trying this place out.I ordered the Japanese Chicken udon noodles. The quantity is good enough for two people. The taste of this dish was great. The chicken was cooked and seasoned very well and the overall taste of this dish was really good. The only reason i have it 4 stars instead of five is the dish was a little too dry for my liking and the noodles were slightly undercooked which may be a personal preference as well.Apart from that the dish had great flavours and the quantity was extremely generous.

A good restaurant serving authentic oriental cuisines in Kothrud area.Small, cozy, creative and welcoming is all i can use to describe Yin Yang.Delicious Sushi! Uramaki rolls, Dumplings and what notttt. They have covered Asian cuisine from Japanese to Malaysian. Very few restaurants in Pune serve authentic oriental food at so good pricing without burning your pockets.Coming to food,â–ªTEAStarted of with Tea served along with a slide of lemon. They have herbal tea in 4 different flavours. Each tea kinda tasted same. They have used natural colours to distinguish between the tea’s.â–ªYIN YANG SPICY CRAB SOUPMy goodness! This soup is so perfect. Nice hot garlic flavour with strong crab flavour is everything you need for this season. Loved the soup! Recommending to gulp down while waiting for your sushis to prepare.â–ªCHICKEN BASIL FLAVOUR DUMPLINGYou can see perfection and efforts in each of the dishes served. Each and every dumpling was same in size and looked so lovely. Dumplings literally melt in your mouth and that basil flavour was on point.â–ªTHAI SPICY CHICKEN AND BEAN SIU MAI-SIU MAI OF PRAWNSSiu Mai is basically traditional Chinese dumplings that are partially covered and filled with stuffings and are basically steamed.Siu Mai here was nice steamed, full of flavours that burst into mouth as you put the whole thing inside. They we accompanied by two types of dips which I forgot to ask them with what they were made but the dips were enhancing the Siu Mai so brilliantly.â–ªTERIYAKI SPICE CHICKEN HOSOMAKITeriyaki Chicken sushi was bit spicy than the other sushis served. They were nice rolls stuffed with chicken and teriyaki flavour was complimenting well.It was covered with Nori i.e Seaweed. This one was my favourite Uramaki roll. People who are trying sushi for the first time Teriyaki Chicken is appropriate one to start with.â–ªTEMPURA OF PRAWNS URAMAKIGuys they serve really perfect Uramakis. The presentation is on point. The Prawns Uramaki was as perfect as the Teriyaki one.â–ªSALMAN TUNA CRAB URAMAKIThis was another favourite one. Cooked salman! Tuna and crab wrapped with the rice and served with soy sauce and wasabi is treat to your soulThe flavours were balanced and also recommending this Uramaki to y’all.â–ªTHAI STYLED PRAWNSPresentation is so lovely. Each Prawn piece served individually. It is spicy dish giving you that strong hot tangy aftertaste. Prawns are tender and fresh. You could feel the freshness in mouth. Coming to the taste, its nice hot dish has that strong punch of flavours bursting in your mouth. Recommending to one who love spicy food.
