Yesterday’s visit was at Absolute Barbeque located in Powai. From Kanjur Railway station it takes 15-20 mins by car and Auto takes 60-70₹.As the name suggests this place is Absolute with every type of dish to offer. They have Barbeques, pasta, chat stall, ice cream stall, kids corner stall, Desert section, and Exotic non veg section.On google maps the images and reviews are quit borrowing but as soon as you enter the place you’ll see a crowed and excited place of people with smiles and satisfactions on their face.For starters we had Chicken leg piece and barbeque chicken, barbeque tandoori prawns with perfect taste which I repeated for most of the time, barbeque fish, mutton seekh kebab, and some paneer barbeque. In this we were all done but then we forced ourselves for makn course with same excitement.For Main course we had Chicken biryani, mirchi wala gosht, chicken fried rice, some fish and prawns curry. Then we tried Exotic dish which had Cultured bunny, Quail, Duck, Emu, Shark meat and some Seafood. I ordered a mix dish and he fried it in front of us with some chilli sauce. It tasted very different with amazing taste.Till this we had the best dine so as we thought and then came time for the deserts.As I have a sweet tooth I took each and every dish to test and it was as amazing as it looked.Rasmallai, Pudding, chocolate balls, arabic honey date cake, Ab’s celebration pastry, Pineapple upside down, angoori gulab jamun and phirni. This was it and then we were full with our tummy and our souls too, with same smile and satisfaction as I described for others. We complimented and said that we would like to revisit this place with our families as this was the best place to dine with family, with perfect surrounding and how friendly staff they had. It was a visit to be remembered.
Bringing Kashmiri food to your city is absolute barbeque with their Kashmiri food festival. The entire restaurant is beautifully decked and decorated to the T, with scenes out of Daal lake and a shikara, the traditionally women with their flowers and the mountainscape.What sets AB apart from the rest is the presence of exotic meat in the form of emu, duck, shark, rabbit and quail. They are several live counters such as pizza counters, mutton fried snack, kheema paav, rolled ice creams, pasta and much more !Their main course prepared entirely in Kashmiri style is phenomenal – the crowning jewel being the chicken dum biryani, mutton Rogan gosht, and several preparations true to the region.Even the dessert counter had its own spin on Kashmiri style of sweet dishes.Thoroughly enjoyed our massive lunch . The staff were extremely courteous and took every effort to make our dining experience exemplary.
Visited this place on a Weekend and it was completely packed. Though this place has lot resemblance to Barbeque Nation, but it is much more effectively priced.They have a very extensive menu, and the service is impeccable. 1. Veg/Non Veg Soup2. Barbecue starters on the table3. Chaat counter4. Mexican Counter5. Italian counter6. Different kind of meat like shark, duck, octopus, turkey7. Chinese Counter8. Main course9. Salad10. Desserts
I was at Absolute Babeques for its THE KASHMIRI FOOD FESTIVE Dawat-e-absolute. This festival is from 24th January to 5th February. So must try its unlimited barbeques and buffet.They have amazing tandoor for vegetarians and non- vegetarians that will be served and grilled on your table so that you can enjoy hot piping barbeques.Apart from tandoor items, they also have a great variety of dishes from Italian, Indian and chinese cuisine.For those who has sweet tooth, they have wide variety of desserts. My most favorite from those is Chukander Afrooz. Basically it was beetroot halwa. Big salute to the chef for this. He was also a humble person and came to our table for any feedback.
A really fine place to feast on food . They are just fantastic when it comes to the variety as well as the quality of the food . They serve some really lip smacking dishes that you certainly shouldn’t miss out on . They have recently started a kashmiri menu that will take you on a culinary trip to the land of Kashmir . They have every meat ever in their menu . Lamb, emu , shark , octopus , quail , chicken , rabbit you name it, they have it all. Every item from their menu stands out . Some of the ones I liked the most were : kurkur daniwal korma , mutton Rogan Josh. They have super awesome desserts too such . Jalebi , shifta, cheesecakes , apple pie , fruit cake , icecream just to name a few . The staff over here is super nice . Do visit . Especially if you love non veg then this place is your paradise .
