We were invited recently by gourmet passport to an extravagant bloggers table hosted at cafe Delhi heights and they have a huge variety of exotic food options to try out from.We were served a delicious affair of their famous options and heres some detail about it1. Panzanella salad with sangria – This an Italian speciality preparation. Par boiled veggies tossed with herbs olive oil and sprinkled with focaccia cheese. It’s very healthy and if you love to eat vegetables then this salad is a definite option on your plate. Goes well with a glass of sangria2. Baked mushroom caps – These button mushrooms are baked to perfection with garlic aioli and parmesan cheese. Garlic aioli is nothing but garlic flavored mayonnaise. This starter was creamy and delicious.3. Grilled chicken sish Taouk- Chicken pieces grilled and served in skewers prepared with Mediterranean herb flavours. Tastes great with mayonnaise sauce.4. Gambas al ajillo- Big sized prawns prepared in white wine garlic and saffron. The prawns takes it colour from the saffron and this Spanish speciality has taken us aback with its delicious flavour. Served with lemon vegdes.5. Scamorza pizza – This pizza is prepared with smoked chicken and cheese. The taste is just like any regular chicken pizza6. Pizza al Greco- Vegetarians, this pizza is for you! Topped with olives, bell peppers, sun dried tomatoes and onions the pizza looks colourful and has a delicious taste to it.7. Galouti kebabs – This luckhnawi delicacy was true to its grounds. Soft and succulent as these kebabs should be tasted really great with the mint chutney.8. Seared mackerel with thai coconut curry- Mackerel prepared in the traditional thai coconut curry base. The fish was soft and tasted great with rice9. Pan fried noodles with teppanyaki vegetables- Again calling out to the vegetarians, this dish is a must try. Tossed veggies on top with pan fried noodles at the bottom.10. Spanish garlic risotto with sauted mushrooms – This risotto was different but yummy in taste. Must try for main course.11. Italian tiramisu cake – tastes just like the traditional tiramisu. Soft and spongy and served with coco powder dustingOverall we had a fun experience here and we thank the gourmet passport for inviting us for this lovely event with delicious food.The staff were courteous and we met a lot of fellow bloggers here.
