I’m in awe of this place. From food to the beautiful interiors, everything is commendable. Honestly I was expecting more out of this place considering it’s rating and also since it’s pricey. Then again which Japanese restro is not!! Firstly, the ambience does not ho with the cuisine they are serving. Frankly, the place feels and looks like a French pastry shop. Too peachy not at all Asian.However, the food is true to the cuisine they promise. The sushi, the dumplings, the raw papaya salad are all authentic in taste. I was a tad bit disappointed with the boa though. Even though the bread was soft and moist, the meat inside was rubbery and dry. Food presentation is fancy.One more thing – the seating can be little more comfortable (but that’s just my opinion). A/c wasn’t working when we went (from previous reviews that’s mostly the case) but that din bother much to me.Staff is cordial and service speed is moderate
The place had no AC but they did inform us before hand. The soup and starters were quite good and had decent portions. But the dimsums took a huge amount of time to come and came even after the main course was served. The the main course was also a surprise, we were advise that the portion sizes would suffice but they were very tiny. Specially the Thai curry was not even sufficient for one person and the cost surely was huge. So very disappointed at the suggest from the staff and we had to order extra items. The food itself was quite good but the portion sizes were let down for us.
What a beautiful place is this. Amazing asian food they serve. Must go place for all of you once .
The bao buns were really bad, a disappointment. I loved the chilly chicken and the nasi goreng was just about alright. Overall, I wasn’t satisfied with the taste given the cost. A big thumbs up to the service though.Taste: 3/5Ambience: 4/5Service: 4/5Cost: 1800 for 2
This restaurant had been on my wishlist for a while. The food was great. That’s the bare minimum these days.
