Golden Wada Pav – where one can have some lip smacking Wada Pav as well as Mung Bhajji. Very reasonably priced, perhaps one of the oldest joint serving the Maharashtrian Snacks. Wada Pav dish has freshly made Wada along with some super soft Pav and Thecha (Green Chillies mix). Where as Mung Bhajji too is freshly fried Bhajjis which has a unique flavour of Coriander seeds as well as Fennel Seeds. Be mindful for the parking on this busy street, but is worth all the efforts.

Golden Wada Pav – serving the best Wada Pav in Lonavala since 1958! Served with green chili thecha (crushed chili chutney), the freshly deep fried Batata Wada and freshly baked Pav are a delight to have! You just can’t skip this place if you are visiting Lonavala. They also serve a variety of other snack items such as Moong dal bhaji, Jalebi, Dhokla etc. but their USP is the Wada Pav. It’s a challenge to park your car on the busy Lonavala Market road and you have to fight the crowd to get your turn on the wada pav – but it’s well worth the struggle. As of date, they charge Rs 17 for one Wada Pav and Rs 14 for single Batata Wada – which I guess is slightly overpriced, but still very much worth a visit!

The place is too over hyped but I didn’t like their Vada pav much it didn’t live upto the name they have.i Have eaten better Vada pav in Pune and Mumbai. The Vadas were ok but had high amount of soda.Didn’t like the taste much. Only one time try kind of place.

I had seen this place about a month ago and it was crowded. We finally got a chance to visit this place today. There is a vada pav shop right next to this shop but no one wants to visit it. Now coming to this place the owner talks a lot and needs to concentrate on the work at hand. The chutney is terrible and we threw it out. The vadas were really good. The were one of the best I have eaten. The moong bajiya was not that great. Overall a must try from me.

We had the wada pav and the bhajiya from here the taste was not upto the mark compared to it’s popularity and just wanted to say them that once I had this my stomach was paining and feeling too heavy which is sad but hopefully I think u will look into the quality and make it up to the mark.

Although you never see a crowd here, they ate constantly frying batches of vada pav which keep disappearing as soon as they are taken out. Bulk purchases I guess.I don’t really know about the chili, but they do make good vadas and moong bhajji. Their vada pav as a whole is pretty fiery thanks to the addition of green thecha. This is by far one of the better batata vadas I have hadVFM – 5/5Service – 5/5Food – 4/5
