I was surprised to see Neeta’s Inn listed here on Zomato since this place is, at best, a food court made for the benefit of bus travellers who halt at Lonavala before proceeding on their onward journey.Speaking of the ambience and hygiene factor, the same is almost non – existent here. Although it has an elaborate menu card, the rates mentioned therein are shockingly high. I Mean, who pays Rs. 80 for Kanda poha or a Veg sandwich, especially when you have names like McDonald’s and Burger King selling you their wares for less than half the price! On comparison, the prices at Neeta’s seem like a total rip off! So unless it’s a necessity, I wouldn’t halt to dine or drink at Neeta’s Inn. They really need an upward growth in their hygiene quotient and a downward one in terms of their pricing.
We stopped for a quick snack here. The place has many tables and we ordered for vada pav and veg fried rice. The vada pav was good. The fried rice was bland and tasted more like pulao
Neeta inn is located at highway so basically all neeta bus halts here. Restaurant is good Ample space for seating. But the service is worst Had TriedMango juice and Wada sambar plate.Wada sambar chutney taste was not good at all.Mango juice which costs 50 Rs. is was like 10 rs Mango juice tasteless. And any packages items they charge more than Mrp. Food price is also very high. and quantity and quality of food is also not good.Will not prefer any one to have any snacks or anytging to eat hereAmbience 4/5Food 1/5Service 1/5
This is a place where the bus haults and all the passengers from the bus have their breakfast or whatever at this place only because they dont have other options. No ambience, no good food, nothing. People have no other option. There are other food shops outside from where u can buy chikki or colddrink, even icecream. Also, anyone who has private vehicle do not visit this place. Its a big no-no.
What to do, when you are not left with any options? This place is known only to the Mumbai-Pune travellers and that too with Neeta Bus services. Had to stop here and take some snacks, everytime you are in Neeta Volvo. Whatever they offer is OK for what they charge, but dont miss to try 3 different varieties of Fresh cream rolls here..
It was a regular halt-n-eat spot for me when I would travel home from Pune on weekends. But I would really not like it. The McD halt is much much better (obviously as u get loads of good options there). This is just a normal canteen with prices higher than what they should be. People have no option when the bus takes you there as you have nothing in the vicinity. So when you have no option and you can hear your stomach crying for some food, you can try the vada pav from here. Its tasty and filling. Other than that you are free to experiment anything 🙂
