The title Bengali cuisine caught my eye and I knew I had to visit this place. Couldn’t have been more disappointed. The waiter assured us that they serve authentic bong food. However, half the items on the menu weren’t available despite being lunch time. Finally we settled down for the biryani on the waiter’s insistence. The quantity was a lot but the same could not be said about the quality. Except for being topped with a boiled egg, it wasn’t even close to being a bong biryani. It didn’t even taste that good. Very poor service too. DO NOT visit this place if looking for bong food.

The owner and the servers are the most rude and arrogant people on earth. They do not care about their customers. Once ordered for self pick up. Upon reaching the place, came to know that my order was not prepared and had to wait further. Was furious and when questioned one of the workers, instead of being apologetic, started to throw attitude. The worst place. Sometimes food is not everything. It is the behaviour and warmth of the staff that attracts and retains customers. Unfortunately, the illiterate and egoistic owner whose so called name is Bablu does not realise this. Will never visit this sick and dirty place and would not recommend it to anyone.
Its the only Bengali restaurant in mira road where someone can have regular lunch and dinner because the food prepared here are just typical Bengali home made type.Being an old customer they served me the traditional Bengali poyla boisakh thali, the photo of which i am uploading now. Let me know what do u say.I am blindly recommending this restaurant. You can ask for any special dish any time to the head cook and owner Bablu da and he happily prepares it for you at a very reasonable price.
