Urban Tadka – a newly launched place located near E-square Multipex on happening University road. The ambience of this place is decent with walls depicting some classy old Pune restaurant photos. The seatings are decent with a bar. At a time it can accommodate around 50 customers.Let’s start with mocktails and food :The mocktails were pretty good with amazing flavors. We tried following mocktails -Banarasi Jaam,Virgin Sangria,Peru Pyala,Gulaboo,Fresh Watermelon and Mint Fizz.Among these mocktails, personally I liked Gulaboo and Peru Pyala. Gulaboo was fusion of rose water with litchi syrup. The taste was refreshing with real rose flower dipped into the mocktail. Peru Pyala was mixture of Guava puree with black salt and pepper. The taste was tangy and spicy.After Mocktails we started with food. The tandoor starters are signature starters here. We ordered Achar Paneer Kebabs, Paneer Tikka, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Mirch kebabs, Chicken Hariyali, Mutton Seekh kebabs, Malai Chicken.Among veg starters, Paneer Tikka and Achari Paneer kebabs were best. The paneer was soft and nicely cooked with decent amount of spices.Among non-veg starters, Chicken Mirch kebabs were best, the juicy kebabs tossed in spices was a treat for all non veg lovers.In main course, we ordered Kadhai Paneer with Garlic naan and Chicken biryani. Tender chicken pieces with veggies tossed in indian spices is perfect main course.Desserts are integral part of 3 course meal. We ordered rabdi jalebi. The hot jalebi with goodness of rabdi was a perfect end to lunch.The service was quick. There was decent music being played in background. It’s a lovely place to chill out with friends.

And the quality was really good.The Biryani was here worth a try. The chicken were well cooked making it a satisfying preparation.Dal tadka with jeera rice nothing can beat this one!Paneer butter masala was so creamy in taste.Jalebi with rabdi this is one of the dynamic duo jalebi perfectly goes with the rabdi.Overall great experience#puneritravellers

Sepacially the combination of jeera rice and daal tadka.I loved the deserts. They had jalebi with rabadi , an amazing combination. The rabadi complimented the jalebi very well .They have a amazing discount offer going on till 2nd October.50% discount on lunch and 25% on dinner.Do visit. Happy eating.
