Alright, if it were possible to do, I’d have given them 4.5 star rating for the generous hospitality. Microbreweries and rootftops – both are rare commodities in our city. When we got to know about this fairly recent place, and given the extra high ratings, decided to head here. Though, like many others, I’d suspect it’ll settle around 4ish rating over a period of time. The place belongs to the same group as the Sin City rooftop nearby. Ambiance – 3.5/5 Extra half points for the open air setup. Overall, though they claim to be 18th century retro, there’s not much to feel on that front apart from a few timepieces and trinkets. The furniture, decor and the likes is as modern as it gets really. Doesn’t really feel you are transported to the 18th century, or anywhere except Mumbai, at all. Food/Drink – 3/5This is the reason for the relatively low rating overall. No penalty for the want of trying here. Like so many others, they try to do it all – chinese, continental, Indian. The paneer popcorn was xtra oily and the peri peri fries were good primarily in the initial concept. Dearth of options for chocolate desserts make it another minus for us – the caramel chocolate cake was too sweet, too hard. The original cocktail menu is nice – loved the Rose Litchi Martini. About average wine collection. Service – 5/5 This is where they score. It was relatively packed for a Thursday evening but they pulled no stops to do whatever possible to make our special day feel xtra special. Full marks here, especially to our server (Sunil i think). Presentation, hospitality, customization – everything done to perfection. Cost: Approx 2.5K-3K per person with alcohol.
