This stall is located opposite mithibai college and is very famous for its Vada Pav and Dosas so I decided to give it a try.I tried their Pizza Dosa, Jini Dosa and Grilled Vada PavPizza Dosa(5/5)- This was extremely tasty and cheesy, the chutney served along with this was also yummy.Definetly recommend this one.Gini Dosa(4/5) : This was also tasty but I found the Pizza Dosa betterGrilled Vada Pav(5/5) : This was served with a lot of butter on the top which made it even tastier.This place also serves Frankies and sandwiches which I plan on trying in my next visit.All in all this place is a total value for money place.
When you think of street food of Bombay, one place which comes to mind is Anand Stall opposite Mithibai college. This is one of the go to place for your street food cravings. It is open from 8 am in the morning till 11 pm at night. Popular among the surrounding college students for their daily snacks, the place attracts many other foodies as well. The menu consists of city’s favorite snack Vada Pav (variations available), Dosa (many options to choose from), Sandwiches, Frankie, Pav Bhaji and juices. The butter Vada pav is favorite of many people. The Vada is big enough and tastes wow. Try the Cheese Vada pav. Loaded with cheese, this one is a must try. For health conscious people, there is the grilled Vada Pav. Apart from variety of Vada pav, they also make Samosa Pav. The Samosa Pav has slowly found it’s place amongst city foodies. Also try their Dosas. There are many options to choose from. The Paneer chilly Dosa is awesome! The paneer subzi is served separately with the dosa and two type of chutneys. It is a whole meal in itself. The other dosa which is hit item among people is the Jini Dosa. You will have to try it to know about it. The Schewzan dosa, Pav bhaji dosa and Cheese Masala dosa are other popular items on menu.Coming to Sandwiches, there are many options available. The Sandwich is made of bread which is big in size. Big enough for 2 people. The popular ones are the Cheese grilled, Paneer Cheese grilled, Mayonnaise, Schezwan etc. The place does not have any seating arrangement. You will find people scattered around the stall savouring their favorite dishes without a care in the world. You can also sit in your car and eat provided you find a place for parking nearby the stall. It is mostly crowded in the evening till late night during the weekends. At such times you order may get delayed. But it’s worth the wait. So go there and just indulge in lip smacking variety of street food and enjoy the taste. You will definitely come back for more.
The best vadapav and dosa stall at vileparle next to Nmims, they have varieties of vadapav, dosas and sandwiches, we ordered one cheese grilled vadapav which was really amazing in taste as they have a speciality in that, also ordered veg mini cheese grilled sandwich which was fine. Would recommend to try the vadapav
In terms of Vada pav this place is a 5/5.The sandwich is good I tried the Junglee sandwich.The dosas are very average, the chutney with the dosa is not that tasty which is a bit disappointing.
Manchurian cheese dosa – 160 rs.Had a little of Manchurian I mean just 4-5 pieces . It had a lot of salt , seemed very appealing but was disappointed.Someone spending so much money for standing out in sun and eating such food doesn’t feels good.TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.Cheese vada pav- 40/50rs.This was really good and was worth the price. Just the dry red chutney they use is all about salt so be careful about adding it.It wasn’t a pleasant experience for sure.
Well Anand is the heart for mithibai/Nm students having dosa/wada/sandwich like you get everything at one place! This jain mayo sandwich was delicious there are many options in sandwiches as well!!
