Ayyapan idli stall is a South Indian eatery service delicious snacks. This is small place located in Matunga east near king circle railway station. This is amazing place to eat south Indian breakfast. Here you will get different varieties of dosas, filter coffee and pineapple sheera. Have been there for multiple times .never disappointed even once. There is no such kind of ambience but quality of food is good and quantity is little less but great in taste!! Highly recommended!!

They have 2 tables laid outside for you to sunbathe and enjoy the traditional South-Indian food and a few sharing tables to stand and eat inside. The menu is written on a board and they serve varieties of idlis, dosas, uthappas and other South-Indian delicacies.We tried podi idli which was soft and spongy idli cubes coated in butter and podi. It was heavenly! The Ayyapan Special Dosa was a buttery dosa bundled up with an array of chutneys, veggies, noodles, paneer and topped with some more paneer and cheese is sure a delight for dosa lovers out there! Overall amazing experience. Do visit if you are around the vicinity.

The best was the Chinese uttapam and onion uttapam here along with butter idli podi and pineapple sheera . Medu wada is good when u have it hot and crunchy . A good experience of south indian dishes overall.
Ayyappan Idli stall provides authentic South Indian food. They offer a large variety of dosas. They have customed dosas to make it tastier for every part of the country to ensure that the remix of south and north is well blended . They have great variety of idlis, rava dosa, spring dosa, masala idli, sheera. They also provide buttermilk, lemon juice and various Tea/ coffe options. Hope they stick to original authentic fare. Don’t promote fusion food like schezwan or chinese in dosas. They don’t make you wait, quick service. But there is a scope for improving hygiene.Also serve JAIN items. Recommended to try – Mysore and paneer pondi cheese dosa as well as their special dosa, Pineapple Sheera is another thing not to be missed.
