Hey party poppers, a perfect place for you..Located in Andheri Lokhanwadal. With providing quality food and service they have attractive Ambience too.We had -Beach day -Carribean cloud – cocktailsSex on the beach – cocktailsNovember Sea BreezeFries basket- 4 types of fries – french fries, Peri Peri fries, potato wedges and twistersBhara Hua Murg – most recommended(chicken stuffed with cheese and spinach)Sicilian Prawns – most recommendedItalian Sizzler- (pasta sizzler)Cheese cakeDefinitely recommend to visit this outlet with drinker friends ..!!
‘Bar Tales’ is such an apt name as each Bar table has a tale to tell and my visit to ‘Bar Tales’ left me with a culinary tale to be told!Visited this newly opened (A month or so) watering hole in Lokhandwala area situated right above Nature’s Basket and with a life size lit sign one cannot miss. The place is decently big once you walk in, a huge bar to your left, seating is spacious & comfortable and well thought off to accommodate a large group with ease.A separate smoking section towards the end of the floor is also available!Walked in on a Wednesday night to live Hindi music by a band and a semi packed audience; not bad considering a weekday night and the place is relatively new to the dining scenes in the area.A wide selection of cocktails available and neatly classified based on your choice of poison – Be it Whiskey / Vodka / Gin / Rum to LIIT’s along with the regular Spirits. My poison for the night was 2 beautifully made Whiskey based cocktails ‘New York Sour’ & ‘Whiskey Hasel’‘New York Sour’ had a good blend of Wine & Bourbon along with lemon & bitters; not sure how they managed to keep the Wine afloat the drink but do make sure to stir before sipping on this, had the right taste but would have been even better with a mix of egg white – Something that can be taken into consideration.‘Whiskey Hasel’ AKA your usual ‘Whiskey Sour’ a soothing blend of Whiskey Elder Flower & Egg White – A personal favorite & the Bartender definitely got this one right! Must try for Whiskey Lovers!Appetizers : Choose from Bar Nibbles to Bao’s to Dimsums or even Sushi to well-crafted plates!‘Hummus’ was presented artistically with Pita bread stacked around the Chic pea paste to form a shape of the Star. Flavors & texture on point here and tasted well!‘Sicilian Prawns’ was presented on a stone plate with a side of vinegar drizzled lettuce leaves, the olive oil tossed king sized prawns (6 pieces) were juicy & flavorful in each bite!Mains : Continental / Indian / Pan Asian – Choose your pick!‘Moroccan Lamb Tagine’ served with succulent lamb pieces cooked in red tomato sauce along with Couscous (Rice option available) was truly soul satiating and the star dish of the night – Definitely recommended!Sweet Endings : A decent and popular selection available!‘American Baked Cheese Cake’ came neatly plated with strawberry syrup artwork along with mint leaves thrown in, texture was perfect and the right gooeyness as expected.‘Banoffee Pie’ loved this one too as it had a very mild taste of Banana, the entire crust was not too crispy or soggy but just the right thickness level with a cream & toffee paste in the center.Overall a good place to hang out and party after a long day and they even got you covered if your hunger pangs surfaces in-between!A special thanks to our host Mr. Rabi who magically appeared whenever we needed him!

Bar Tales is a happening new place in Andheri Lokhandwala area in the same building where Marks & Spencer is.The ambience is dark and peppy, music loud, bar fully stocked, delicious food and lip-smacking cocktails – what more do you need! We tried a variety of dishes and cocktails from their huge menu. Here are some-DrinksCaribbean Cloud: white rum based, super chilled and blended with grenadine. There was a hint of pineapple too. Do try it!Mexican Merry: this one’s for all those ‘khatta’ lovers! Tequila mixed with tomato juice, tabasco, Worcestershire sauce and black salt. Loved the taste and the presentation.Orange and Basil Caprioska: Vodka based sweet cocktail. Mild and comforting.Newyork Sour: The best drink of the night! Bourbon whiskey topped with red wine. Right amount of strong plus delicious.FoodPeri Peri Murgh Tikka: the juiciest chicken pieces marinated in red spicy masala and grilled to perfection.Three Mushroom Maki: one of the best sushi I’ve had. Served with soy, wasabi and pink ginger. Recommended!Italian Sizzler: we ordered the chicken version. Came with pasta (choice of red, white and mix), pepper sauce, herb rice, butter potato mash and sautéed veggies. The chicken chunks were absolutely delicious. I’ve never had such flavourful chicken in any sizzler before. Mix sauce pasta was okayish.Bhati ka Murgh Masala: for main course, we ordered this tandoori indian dish and absolutely loved it! Do have it with cheese naan, you’ll be in food heaven.Berry Blast Panna Cota: the best panna cota you’ll have. So creamy and delicious. See pic attached.Hazelnut Mousse Cake: the only dish which disappointed. Could be a lot more soft and light in texture. Wish I’d ordered the cheesecake. We went for Wednesday night unplugged where singer Mohit made the evening even more happening with his enchanting voice. Do visit this cool place. Highly recommended!
93rd Restaurant to be rated a complete 5on5 by me. This time 4 is for the food and 1 extra is for the amazing service by staff Kiran & Ravi and unplugged singing by Mohit Modanwal.Bar Tales is located off Lokhandwala Andheri West. Its on the same building where Marks & Spencer is located so easy to find. The restaurant is spacious with nice big bar the moment you enter and seatings are arranged nicely. Seating options are great for all size of groups. The ambiance is nicely done with colourful walls, bright neon lights, and Edison bulbs are hanging on the ceiling. They have a dedicated place for DJ & live singers as well. The music is super loud and the sound system is smooth. And it gets louder and darker as the time passes. Also they keep different event on all the days of the week so do check their page before visiting. The menu contains global dishes and trust me it has one of the amazing menu made with a lot of options to choose from. They have taken dishes from almost every part of the world and therefore dishes are nicely balanced for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Prices are at par with similar type of brands and the quantity served is decent.I went here for dinner on Wednesday and it was Unplugged night. Singer Mohit did an excellent job as he kept the energy going and I loved it. Kitchen service was smooth as the dishes came on time and table service was excellent as both Kiran & Ravi were attentive. What We Had -APPETIZERS~Bhara Hua Murg -Charcoal grilled chicken filled with spinach and cheese presented on an hanging skewer tasted delicious. This had good amount of spiciness however cheese and spinach lightly tone it down. They also serve mayo, peri peri dip, mustard sauce, green chilli chutney along with this so you can add these according to your liking.Prawns Nigiri -Fresh prawns, sticky rice and seaweed looked nice and tasted decent. This missed the kick as in spicy mayo drizzle can be used here to enhance the flavours. Also the shape was such that it was falling apart. So improvements needed here.MAINS~Paneer Tikka Pizza -Nice thin crust topped with loads of cheese, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, greem chillies and paneer tikka chunks. This tasted outstanding as the cheese was generously used and the tikka flavours were amazing. The veggies had nice crunch and we loved eating this till the last slice.DESSERTS~American Baked Cheesecake -One of the best cheesecake that I have tried. This tasted super delicious. Smooth in texture and not too much of berry compote used.Almond Brittle with Chocolate Sauce -Almond caramel chikki topped with chocolate sauce tasted nice. However it stick to your mouth so chewing this is difficult and it is super sweet.MOCKTAILS~Tropical Punch.November Sea Breeze. Both the drinks were made nicely but I would prefer November Sea Breeze more as it was really good.So the meal at Bar Tales was great as I loved most of the dishes, the ambiance and the vibe is amazing, the service was excellent and the Wednesday unplugged night just made the whole thing perfect. Therefore do visit here.
