Good ambience a place where you can sit and talk with a lovely person till the time you want to as it makes you feel more intimate in that place with that person. Best place in the whole property. It makes you feel more possitive and enthusiastic with that candle lite and open windows facing towards there luscious lawns. It is a place situated next to the bar but not that noisy infact it is a soothing area. Food variety is not that much as its just a small area to do chit chat though the taste of food was good.

Originally it was mean to be a place where kids and families could enjoy themselves as the men sat at the bar 🙂 but it became much more than that. There was a time when they used to give it out exclusively for parties etc and did a really brilliant job out of it. But they have stopped it now. It’s a Tea/ snacks place only. Food options are limited but no complains there with taste. It has small niche corners where u can sit with friends etc and have chats. It has French Windows that open into their lawns so it’s also got a lovely view in the mornings. Night time the ambience turns into an intimate little place with strategically placed candles etc. nice place to enjoy a few peaceful moments
We have some guests staying in ITC, airport so had a chance to visit Catherine’s for breakfast. Like all other restaurants in this chain, the buffet was a lavish spread ranging from the continental to American to Indian varieties. I sometimes wonder how one can eat it all! The cane furniture, the ambience and the service are all upto the mark. Worth a visit for a special occasion or with firangs as they like this type of setting!
A serene nook to curl up with a book.This Tea Room has the ambience of a yesteryear greenhouse or gazebo. The cane furniture with its vibrant white background cushions is a soothing sight.The gardens in it overlooks even more so. Indulged in a cup or two of strong Assam tea while lounging in.
When it comes to ITC hotels , there’s the Indian touch to hospitality and redefining luxury. After browsing on Zomato , I came across Catherine’s , which I thought would be a place to relax over a cup of coffee , and surely ITC didn’t disappoint. After a long pathway through the other restaurant’s in the hotel , I reached at Catherine’s.Onlooking the garden , Catherine’s gave a feeling that I was in a different world away from the noise of the city. The cafe was pretty much empty.We were greeted warmly and as we were served bread sticks and chips for the biting. We ordered a double chocolate shake and a cold coffee. The shake and the coffee both were indeed palatable. Overall the ambience was quite appealing and the Christmas decorations and lightings added beauty to the decor.
It’s a quick fix cafe but then as the name suggests it’s got a bit of the old world charm and you can still ask for an almond cookie with a good old dark espresso shot or then you can even try some of the home made bakes and the fresh fruit cakes as well!
