Diva Maharastracha. My overall experience was average and the taste could have been much much better.Food – I had kolambichi karanjee in starters which was good but could have been more filling to be honest.Desserts – Doodhiehalwa is what i would suggest everyone and traditional maharashtrian puran poli.Service was good but 3 is what i would rate.

I had recently visited this place for lunch and the following is my experience.I would like to start with the decor and ambience. The decor here is very authentic and true to maharashtrian culture. It is very rich and the ambience gives off a very luxe vibe. The lamps and the pillars with diyas in it instantly draws you and makes you feel happy.I loves the decor and ambience. Now i am gonna start with what i ordered. In cocktails i orderedMango Margarita- 5/5Cuddles on the beach- 4.5/5Both these cocktails tasted delicious and didn’t have the overpowering alcohol taste to it. I liked Mango Margarita more as there was a much liked sweetness of mango to it which i liked and the rims also had sugar on it which was a plus.In starters i orderedMalawani fried BombilKolambichi bhajiThe malawani fried Bombil was yummy. The batter was thin and didn’t over power the fish. The flavor was great and the seasoning was done very well. The fish was the hero of this dish like it should be.I would like to rate it 5/5The kolambichi bhaji is essentially a dumpling made of prawns, gram flour, onions and spices. This dish i wasn’t a big fan of because the outer layer was thick and tough to my liking. The filling was seasoned well and had the flavor but the prawns was too much of a mush and didn’t have the taste of the prawns.I would like to rate it 3/5In main course i orderedNagpuri Saoji MuttonChicken ShagotiNagpuri Saoji Mutton, i am a fan of this dish. The gravy was amazing. The spices used and the seasoning was perfection and the Mutton was cooked amazing. It was boneless and the pieces melt in your mouth. I would definitely recommend this to everyone that goes there.I would like to rate it 5/5Chicken Shagoti was a great dish too. The gravy was smoked. The spices and seasoning was perfect. The chicken was boneless and cooked really well.I would like to rate it 4.5/5I tried both these curry with Amboli which is basically like a dosa. The combo of Amboli and both these curries were great.I dessert i orderedDoodhi ka halwaI had never tried doodhi ka halwa ever and thought finally doing so. This doodhi ka halwa tasted amazing. It was rich as the grated vegetable was cooked in desi ghee and sugar. The sweetness was proper and not overpowering. They also topped it of with nuts.I would like to rate it 5/5Apart from decor, ambience and food there is one more thing that every restaurant needs to be a great restaurant and that is the staff and I am really happy to say they have an amazing staff. Extremely polite and friendly and take really good care of the customer. They really wanna make sure you have a good time dining with them. I have given an extra star solely for the sfaff.I would recommend this place to everyone.

Diva Maharashtracha is located in Mahim (W).It is popularly known for its authentic maharashtrain and Goan food. This place is parted in 3 sections Goa – Portuguese , Diva Maharashtracha food and Dakshin Curries, serving their best.Ambience – The ambience of the place purely showcases the origins and culture of the places. Right from the entrance to the food and it’s presentations, everything is on point.Staff & Service – The staff and manager is polite and friendly, with great knowledge of their cuisines. The service was good & prompt.Food – The taste and quality of food is on point and very authentic.Cocktails & MocktailsThe Royal Cream: White rum flavoured with vanilla pod & Chocolate syrup.Mango Fruit Punch: This Mocktail was full of flavours, there was Mango extract with strawberry crush, vanilla ice cream and cherry on the top.StartersPrawns koli wada: Fresh prawns spiced up in koli wada masala and deep fried to perfection.Chicken Hira Fry: Tender chicken marinated fried into green spices to crisp.Khekade and kalimiri soup (crab soup): Super tasty and full of spices, this crab soup was the winner for me, with soft crab meat and exotic taste.Main CourseNagpuri Saoji Mutton: Medium spicy with Tender mutton pieces, nagpuri Saoji was a good choice.Malvani Chicken Sagotti: Coconut based gravy spices with malvani masala and tender chicken pieces.Chapati: Chapatis were light and soft to eat.Amboli: Soft kokani style dosa was a great choice with chicken Sagotti and nagpuri Saoji Mutton.DesertDudhi Halwa: Halwa was authentic and full of dry fruits. It gave me a flashback of my nani’s Dudhi Halwa.Must try-Mango Fruit Punch,Khekade ani kalimiri soup,Nagpuri Saoji Mutton,Dudhi Halwa.

Diva Maharashtracha is truely a Maharashtrian cuisine restaurant with beautiful ambience. They have amazing traditional themed interiors where you can see gudhi, paithanis and diyas. They have all the traditional dishes from different parts of Maharashtra right from pithla bhakri to seafood. We had tried varities of nonveg starters i.e prawn’s koliwada, rawas fry, bombil fry, kolhapuri chicken sukkha and kolimbichi karangee. Among all that I can suggest you to must try is prawn’s koliwada and kolhapuri chicken sukhe. Mocktails were disappointing, it could have been better. Also the only cocktail I liked was whiskey sour.In mains whatever you order , plz don’t forget to order amboli along with any dish as it was super soft and delicious.
