fried fish was delicious. it’s good food and reasonable too.
The surmai thali at Mauli was really good with a fried fish slice and a small piece of fish in gravy as well. Took the rice bhakri option and it was nicely made. There was a kokum kadi and a plain gravy as well along with some crispy fried onions and kokum along with some coriander chutney and cucumber slices. The fried surmai or kingfish was nicely done and was quite a large slice though it had curled up when frying it. There was a small serving of rice as well. The gravy was very nice and thick unlike most places where it is quite watery. The fish in the gravy was a very small piece but most places will not even serve that so it was a bonus anyway. Liked the food for it’s taste and quality of fish as well.
