Ishaara – PalladiumThe name itself describes the concept of this restaurant. Similar to Mirch n mime. It is a tribute to all the speech impaired. The concept here is to communicate to staff via sigh language. The experience is the USP here, along with the food which is Morden Indian cuisine made uniquely.Simple dishes like the gajar halwa was served with a lot of heart. Topped and garnished with almond and dry fruits.Meal for 2 is quite reasonable here. Worth an experience.

How cool is a place that is run by service staff with hearing and speech impairment?A treat for your eyes and taste buds as well. From the very beginning they way the staff introduces themselves and also helps you with some sign language for you to communicate and order food. The dishes we went for wereStarters for Veg.Punjabi SamosaThe basic Samosa in a chaat formDelhi Aloo Tikki ChaatOne of the best chaats to try with a hint of Delhi Flavors.Dahi Bhalla ChaatFor the love of Punjabi BhallaTandoori MushroomsBaked Broccoli.Tandoori Mushrooms and Broccoli had more over a similar taste with their own goodness. For NonVegKeema SamosaThis is one of the dishes to try here as it has a very unique taste.Makhan ChickenFull of butter as the name suggest and chicken to die for.Mutton Dori Kebab. This dish was a highlight and the winner hands down, so soft it doesn’t stay in your your mouth. So soft and delicious.Definitely coming back for more.Amritsari Fish TikkaYum Yum in tummy. Fish so fresh and soft. For Main course we opted forVeg Jaipuri with Garlic Naan. With fresh earthen flavours in the curry.Sufiyaan Biryani. The plating and the serving was bang on. With the side of saalan and raita to go for.Mocktail and CocktailStrawberry and peach ice tea.Indian Goose BerrySoulkadii – Highlight of the day.Daiquiri – rum based.Last but the besttt.Dessert.We tried three of them.Gulab Jamun PanacottaWith the flavour of Indian desi sweetsFlourless Chocolate Brownie.A win win in all the situations, so soft and gooey. It’s a dessert to kill for.Gajar Halwa Crumble. With a side of nuts and cookie Crumble, it had such a good crunch for the perfect ending. All in all the restaurant is a must try for the experience itself, the food is the later part. Which is worth every penny.

Had an amazing dinner, one of the fanciest yet subtle and humble restaurant. The courteous & helpful staff despite being specially challenged are a delight and help you in the best possible way and are nothing but smiling at any given point. The food is really good, along with pretty plating and served with a smile always! Had a couple of vegetarian options and nothing seemed to disappoint, the desserts are especially a bliss, and just cannot be missed! My favourite dessert has to be the flourless brownie & tandoori broccoli when it comes to appetisers! Food: 4.5/5Ambience: 5/5Value for Money: 4/5Overall: 5/5

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT. One of my best dining experiences in Mumbai. Went for lunch and tried their sea food tasting menu. Started of with lobster bisque. This was followed by soft shell crab, calamari Kochi,John Dory moily, Mango prawn curry and salmon kedgree. Dessert was lime mousse. Can’t say which dish was better as they were all cooked to excellence. The staff are all hearing impaired and hats off to the management for employing them. Service with a smile and relaxed ambience. Very well lit. This whole meal was 1500 per head all inclusive

Ishaara is the newest entrant in Mumbai which is located in Palladium Mall. They serve a variety of authentic North Indian food which is scrumptious. My bar of expectations rose higher as I saw the ambiance. As the name implies, the staff here have hearing and speaking impairment and hence the communicate in sign language or rather in ‘Ishaara’. Coming to the food, we ordered-STARTERS-▪️ Dungar Chicken Tikka▪️Paneer Panch Phoran▪️Dori Kebab▪️ Beetroot N Papad Seekh▪️Curry Leaf Chicken ChopsMAIN COURSE-▪️ Chicken Malwan CurryBREADS-▪️ Tandoori RotiRICE-▪️Sufiyani Chicken BiryaniDESSERTS-▪️ Gulab Jamun n vanilla pannacottaI totally enjoyed my meal. Looking forward to visit again to try the rest of the menu. Excellent experience altogether.

Bit disappointed ! That’s what come to my mind when I think of the overall experience of Ishaara :(I went along with my colleagues after looking at the 4.1 Zomato rating. We went on Monday afternoon when the place was absolutely empty and quickly occupied a table for 6. The ambience was serene and nothing flashy to boast about it ! The stand-out feature of the place is they have employed the staff with the disability (deaf & dumb) and communicate with sign language. I really felt good about it.Coming to the food, it was huge disappointment. We ordered few mocktails and starters, it turned out not that great experience. The portions are just not doing justice to the price they are charging. We ordered -Mushroom Galouti – 1/5This was real horror and we new it straight after having first bite of it. Totally bland with no taste at all.Paneer Panch Poran – 3/5The taste was ok with predominant flavour of mustard.Tandoori Broccoli – 4/5Best of the lot with good fresh flavour of Broccoli served along with sour cream.Mocktails – 3.5/5(Virgin grapefruit cobbler, Mandarin & chilli, raspberry slush )We ordered all different mocktails but nothing taste that great to remember at all. After eating the starters we decided to quit the place. We asked the staff to prepare the Maincourse little lively and spicy to which they upfront declined !For starters and mocktails we had a pay a whopping 2500₹Guys.. I would suggest to give a miss to Ishaara as nothing was enticing for any of us.I have rated this place as 3 because these people are giving opportunities to people who cannot hear and speak. Else I would have given a 2 rating.
