True Parsi delight. This restaurant boast of complete Fine dining of Parsi cuisine at its best. The Ambience of chandleirs, parsi heritage images and beautiful Piano playing live makes it quite perfect place to dine in forpeople who love good food, Music and ambience.I went for lovely dinner with family and things we had were:Appetizers1. Mutton kebab: Parsi diner is incomplete with mutton kebabs and trust these were the best juicy, meaty and to the point2. Chicken sticks: This dish will take you by surprise its fried chicken sticks but when u bite in it u will taste egg fried crust n on inside green fresh chutney layer n then juicy chicken what a starter. Must must try.3. Patra ni Macchi: This is the classic fish starter which had perfect blend on spice, sweet, tangy flavours in that hot piping steamy fish.Mains1. Kheema par edu: One of the must must try on dish its chicken topped with eggs n served with pav’s2. Sandh nu Patio: This is a green curry mildy spiced with fresh n big prawns in it served with steam rice.3. Mutton salli botti: Another parsi classic, tender boneless chunks of meat which just melts in mouth perfect balance of spicy, sweet n tangy flavours topped with crispy potato sallli.4. Mutton berry pulav: Its a pulav made with spices and lots of berries in it.Dessert1. Lagan nu custard: The classic caramel custard of parsi served in unique presentation with sum nice caramel n cinnamon powder.2. Sev with mithu dahi: This was something new i tried. It was mildly sweetened sevaiya with pista n served with chilled sweet dahi. Quite a unique n rustic dessert.3.Gulab jamun with Rabdi: The gulab jamuns were perfectly soft n rabdi was just the perfect.Mocktails1. Kala khatta golaaa: One of the must try cocktails it has the big slushy kala khatta gola in it and its quite refreshing. Do try this one.2. Guava twister: The glass rims are topped with masala n salt so when you drink in the drink it gives you the classic guava with masala punch.3. Watermelon mojito: You must have tried the regular mojitos but this one was surely quite a stealer. Very subtle flavour of watermelon with hints of lemon, mint and extremely soothing n refreshing drink.4. Cindrella sangria: If you are lover mildly flavoured n some nice light drink to go with food this is the one. Just the perfect.Service: The service was very prompt and nice. Very humble and courteous staff. The guy who attended us “Mayur” did his job extremely well. We were served with palate cleansers n a complimentary pan candy floss at the end.My take: Do visit with any group this place will make u fall in love with the ambience the piano music, the food and courteous service.
It’s a really good place with nice ambiance and courteous staff. We tried chicken cutlet, pathrani macchi, Chicken on a stick, custard, chicken and prawn berry pulao. They served paan flavoured candy floss as a complimentary dish which was a nice ending to the meal. Worth trying if you like Parsi food in a good ambiance.
The Orb is my new fav place to go.. with varied restaurants it has something for everyone. We tried jumjoji the parsi diner and were not disappointed. The mutton kebab and chicken cutlet was juicy and flavourful. My personal fav the mutton dhansak came with caramel rice and was absolutely yummy, the mutton was cooked to perfection and melted under the fork.. the patra no macchi was exquisitely prepared and left us craving for more. The prawn berry pulav was also good but if u have eaten at Britannia then standards have been set. We finished the meal off with chai ice cream. I loved the raspberry palatte cleansers and the paan candyfloss brought to us at the end. Definitely going backThe Orb has a baby room(with all the works) which is sponsored by Pigeon which is a such a blessing!! As a 2 month olds mother it made my experience even better thanks for it.

One of the few Typical Parsi Place in the city. Jumjoji is located on 1st Floor at Orb near International AirportIt’s interior is beautifully decorated with Parsi recipes and Chandelier We were given a 7 star service The best service and staff seen so far. They were polite and attended us very well . Jumping with joy after having Veg at JumjojiWelcome back to the channel everybody i hope you all are doing absolutely fine. It was a thursday and me and my friend went to this place near international airport and besides JW Marriot. I am a vegetarian and my friend being a nonvegetarian i was a bit curious as the name suggested Parsi cousine. Ambience:-Right from the time you enter the place you can feel like you are entering a place which is nicely lit up.Nice cozy tables with some flowers setup near the tables. The interior was very nicely made with the lightening just makes it a perfect place for a good dinner/lunch.They also have huge sofa seats for a big crowd of 10 plus. Service:-The service is top notch i must say without a doubt. From the time we entered the service by the staff and also helping in guiding what food to taste and all was too good. The staff was always there to help us in serving and always used to come and ask about the food taste and if anything else was required. Food:- We ordered the following food and beverages:- 1) Spicy Gauva:-The look was superb as it was nice gauva juice with spices on the tips of the glass with a lemon on top.Taste wise also it was good as it was thick rich in flavour and the spice on the tip of glass gave a nice mix of sweet and spicy with each sip i had.I would say it was really good. 2) Watermellon Mojito:-The mojito was presented in a nice way.Precisely as they had kept the pieces of Watermellon on top by a stick.Nice way of presentation to keep a tulsi leaf on the top.Overall taste wise it was ok as the soda actually reduced the sweetness of the watermellon and it tasted more like soda.SO i would say it was ok but gauva was much better. 3)Cheese Fingers:-Being a vegetarian i have tried cheese fingers, cheesy jalepeno poppers, cheesy sticks at n number of places but i must say this was one of the best i have eaten so far.It was nicely stuffed with mozarella cheese i feel as with each bite i could find cheesy layer with herbs and corn inside.Definately one of the best starters i had. I would highly recommend this to all. 4) Chicken Pattice:-This review was given by my friend who found it very nice and filling. 2 pieces of chicken pattice that had nice chicken patty stuffed and cooked to perfection and fried and served along with the Tomato gravy/sauce.If you are an individual you would be satisfied by having those 2 pieces. 5)Veg Berry Pulao and Chicken Berry Pulao:-For main course we ordered their patent most sold veg berry pulao and chicken Berry Pulao. Both were served with a special tomato baseed gravy which was like a sauce which the person said you may add if you feel dryness in the pulao.COming to the pulao it was nicely served in a plate with 3 pieces of kofta/balls of chicken and veg respectively on each dish.Pulao was nicely presented with seeds of pomogranate and colorfull biryani rice having a nice basmati fragrance.Taste wise the staff was bang on as the tomato gravy was the perfect combination for the pulao be it veg or nonveg. All in all both of us were really happy and actually full as the quantity was very nice. 6)Desserts:-Before having desserts they actually gave a taste changer in a spoon which was a molecule which was strawberry flavour just to revive your taste buds. Gulab Jamun with Rabdi:-As soon as the dish arrived we tried the gulab jamun which was so soft that it actually melted in our mouth.3 pieces of gulab jamun having the right sweetness and served on top of rabdi. Now here was the catch we expected a rabdi that we have anywhere in the city but this was more like malai barfi(kalakand) crushed and served as a rabdi. So that dissapointed us as if it was an ideal rabdi then it would have just been the perfect end to our dinner. But unfortunately we were dissapointed with that. But may be thats something the hotel needs to look at as the gulab jamun was really superb. Laganu Custard:-This we ordered just because in all the zomato review everyone was talking about this custard. We tried it as well and our review was we have had better than this. But may be someone who has not been to some authentic sweet shops they would be really happy. It was good but not WOW. 7)Flavoured sauf/Pan flavoured floss:-In the end they also gave us a flavoured sauf and it was topped with a candy floss type which was of pan flavour.Really innovative idea to serve the mukhwass to the guests in the end. VERDICT:- If you are a nonveg lover then this is the place to visit especially if you like fish and parsi cuisine is something which you must try like patrea machhi and dhanshak. For veg people there are options which are good so you wont be dissapointed.Other than that jumjoji give you all the necessary points which is required .
