If you are a Thai food lover your should try this restaurant. This small but beautifully painted place will make you feel as if you are sitting in an Asian restaurant. The staff were so polite and gentle that that they even suggested us to change our place if we were not comfortable on a busy day like Sunday1 Kung Pao potatoes 4.5/52 Thuk pa soup 5/53 paneer in red Thai sauce
This artistically designed family restaurant serves a variety of Asian dishes prepared in clean robust flavours. It has a seating capacity for smaller groups in general with little to no privacy, but exudes a friendly vibe.If you ever crave for some delicious food, Khow Chow is sure to satisfy your hunger pangs!Usually packed on the weekends, the crowd is competitively lesser on weekdays. The best part, this is an all day restaurant (12 noon to 12AM)!Not just food, but the beverages and desserts are not-to-be-missed!We began by ordering soups- Chefs Special Chicken Thai Soup: This was a good recommendation indeed, the broth is enriched by lemon grass with kaffir lime. This is an explosion of flavour. Also, the quantity of chicken was applaudable. One of my personal favourites!Crab Asparagus Soup: The beauty about this soup was the fresh crab and the flavour of the meat! It is bland in general but you can spice it with the table sauces. The seafood lovers will definitely appreciate this one.We then called for a portion of Sizzlet Chilli Prawns: Ordering Prawns is a risk, but here, it was totally worth it! I was amazed with the tenderness of the fresh prawns. It was juicy, deveined and cooked amazingly well. The Oyster sauce marination was just perfect! This was an eye candy and also left a lingering taste. Highly recommended! We then had a portion of assorted non-veg dimsum basket: You get 2 Chicken dimsums and 2 prawn dimsums. This one is a little hard on the pocket for sure, but the taste is worth every penny. I couldn’t pick a favourite, literally all tasted amazing. The main ingredients were straw mushrooms& basil along with the meat. Another dish I would recommend if you enjoy flavours. We had a salad- Laab Gai- It is minced chicken infused with onions, coriander and lemon. While this dish is preferred in Thailand, it’s not something that suits the Indian palate. It is dry and crunchy (contains crushed rice). This was the only dish that I didn’t much appreciate. We then called for mocktails- Grape Fruit Berry Lemonade: The perfect balance between sour sweet & bitter. It contains too much ice, so make sure you request them to use less. The presentation is simple but drool worthy.Suika Surasshu- This drink is water based made from watermelon and mint. It is super refreshing, perfectly sweetened and looks aesthetic! It is garnished with a watermelon piece & mint leaves. I really liked this one!We then ordered Prawn Sizzler in Chilly Oyster sauce: The aroma of the sizzler fills up the air when the piping hot dish is placed in front of you! At Khow Chow you can customize your sizzler by choosing your base, type of sauce and meat/veg options. We opted for Prawns in Chilly Oyster sauce. Again the prawns were well cooked and the dish was filled with a variety of flavours. Also, for the price, the portion size is highly commendable! The base, toppings and fries are well put together and it’s a dish you will thoroughly enjoy!Since it was Chinese New year, we were given a complementary portion of flat rice noodles (fried) with in-house chilly, honey chilly and tamarind dips. It was the cherry on the cake, indeed! To end our meal on a sweet note, we ordered some desserts- Chocolate Rose: The chocolate ganache comes in the shape of a Rose garnished with chocolate sauce, cocoa powder and a scoop of vanilla Icecream. The inside of the chocolate ganache is a filling of caramel, rice krispies and chopped nuts. I think the whole blend is so decadent! It’s a treat for chocolate lovers!Next, we ordered a portion of Tab Tim Krob: This is an item not-to-be-missed! I promise you, you’ll love it. I’ve never had a dessert similar to this one before. Tab Tim Krob is made from Pandan Leaf (used as a flavour in Asian dishes) flavoured water chestnuts blended with sweetened coconut cream. This is light on your stomach and it will have you craving for more! A unique and my favourite from the desserts, highly recommended! Our dine-in at Khow Chow was extremely pleasant. The staff are extremely well versed with the dishes and provide amazing recommendations. Sanjeev, Salina, Aishwarya and Laxman (outlet manager) made sure we had a memorable meal. They were courteous and understanding. The restaurant impressed me to another level and I cannot wait to visit again!Overall rating:Ambience- 5/5Menu- 5/5Service- 5/5Hygiene- 5/5Quality of food- 5/5Taste- 5/5Value for money- 4/5

The food is amazing and the menu is very sorted. Everything I had here tasted great. They gave us some very good suggestions. The service was very good as well. I would love to come back for the lovely flavours and classic dishes.
Heard this was a great place for Asian food, but had mixed feeling about it.-Edamame and Truffle Dimsums- The dimsum was filled with edamame mash which barely had any flavor and on top of that the truffle oil was too overpowering.-Stir-Fried Soft Shell Crab-Not what we expected at all, came glazed in some kind of Sauce, Crab tasted great though.-Char Siu Chicken Bao- Filling of chicken not sufficient compared to the size of the bao. Veg -Soba Noodles- By far the best Soba noodles I’ve eaten, really light and full of umami. Would definitely recommend this.Maybe we just didn’t order the right dishes. Might go here again to try something else.
