Visited this place for the first time and tried something new. It was delicious. The way it was presented like all caramely look, it was just so mouth watering to look. And it’s taste was even more delicious. We shall definitely visit next time and try out other awesome dishes.
Having heard a lot, I went for brunch and came back scarred. The service was quite poor, the owner kept shouting and yelling at the staff, and the food was not worth the price at all! I have had way better tasting road side food. The Mutton Keema was delicious and though. The cafe feels authentic and calm except for the irritating owner but nothing else about it lives upto its name.Best left off the list.
Long pending visit to koolar was checked today. Place with old world charm of an Irani cafe is definitely worth a visit. Service was tardy and the guy at the counter was continuously shouting at someone or another, including two (of his?) kids running around the restaurant. Pricing is okay and the quality is acceptable. Though the omelette and bun maska were nothing out of extraordinary, it was delivered prompt. Would have preferred if the chef had used some of his hand energy to whip the egg for making the double omelette fluffy, instead of serving a lifeless one aka railway style. the custard was good. The sodas (raspberry, ice cream) are a good try. Can visit for a relaxed snack or meal in case you are around the area.
