Great cakes and savouries. Calls for a full 10 on all counts.Absolute delight and great effort to completely satisfy the customer. Line the trio choc, truffle and I think all the cakes. Some nice sandwiches and pretty reasonable too.
As we were staying at the Hyatt Regency, couldn’t resist the beautiful looking desserts staring at us! Hubby and I skipped lunch to eat some of these creations – we opted for coconut water and watermelon juices, both were good but we felt paying a bomb for coconut water was a waste, when the same would have costed me Rs. 40/- on the streets. Water was also extremely expensive. We ordered the veg sandwich with fresh mozzarella and the chicken tikka puff – both were very well presented, taste was ok – it just lacked some kind of punch – more seasoning’s maybe.I would have not left without trying the dessert and we ordered the red velvet cake – that was a nice and huge piece and good for sharing. Service was good – prices were exorbitant – but i guess its a 5star hotel price!
I’m appalled with the food these guys are serving! And what is disheartening is the amazing reviews I’ve read on Zomato with regards to the bakery! We walked into the bakery post a Recee at the ballroom, and ordered for a Chicken Club Sandwich – fairly decently. Fresh orange juices – average, and a Chicken Kathi rolls – endless amount of tiny bones in the roll. Post that we decided to at least satisfy our sweet tooth and went ahead to order a couple of pastries. The pastries tasted stale, and rather odd. We both the same to the staffs attention, and the oh so very helpful response to that was okay, that’s it that’s all they said, nothing about why we were mentioning so, or let me get you another pastry, or let me speak to the baker. Not something you’d expect out of a 5 star where your already paying a bomb for ridiculously bad food. Definitely won’t be touching the food here on the show day!
This place is to die for, amazing quality, so delicious that you cant just have once one item on the menu. The coffee was amazing as well. Very quite and peaceful place to enjoy with the perfect piece of cake and sugar delights.
We were dining at the Glass House and had Amaan and Armaan birthday to celebrate. We got a chocolate cake from The Bakery. Very soft and quite delicious. Next time would wanna try a few other items that were on display and were visually very appealing. For more on us follow onInstagram@3foodiots@amaan__aziz@armaan__aziz@vivekdhadhaSnapchatthreefoodiotsTwitter / Flickr / Pininterest / Facebook3Foodiots
The reason I came down is cause of the Hyatt name . The brand name which has been the epitome of the hospitality industry in India and abroad , but to my shock the service wasn’t near the Hyatt standards at all . In Mumbai you have a restaurant called the udupi joint which serve fast food , the service in these places is far quick and responsible . I mean they do know to serve atleast a quick glass of water to the client even before they ask. We just wanted to have a quick refresher drink as we’re on the way back from the international airport and I thought we would drop down but I was totally displeased . On my arrival I was escorted to the table by the pleasing guest service executive but after that, for 10 minutes no one came down to my table to even offer me a glass of water . I even saw the steward going back and forth around but no one to look at us . I actually thought we were the underprivileged class by the way I was treated . Finally a server called Rahul came down who asked us how may I help you . We insisted on meeting the restaurant manager who looked into our request sincerely and quickly . The juices ordered along with the muffins were all mouthwatering and great . But again the server Mr Rahul asked me sir are u waiting for something more u have ordered . I wasn’t too happy with that cause I feel he should know what I have ordered on the table rather than ask me cause there is a difference in professional hospitality skills and an Amateure trainee.i personally value exemplary service the most and I have quiet had that every time I visit the grand Hyatt , thus expect the same from the Regency. Do take my feedback as an honest and humble suggestion from a hardcore patron of the Hyatt group rather than a complaint .
Visited The Bakery at Hyatt with my husband last weekend, for coffee and cakes. We ended up ordering cold chocolate and cold coffee, both of which were a bit too sweet for our taste. However, the cheesy loaded bread that we ordered along with it was just heavenly. It had a filling of two different soft cheeses which just blasted with flavour and melted in our mouths (tip: we had it warmed up). We also went for a hazelnut pastry which was the right amount of sweet and went well with the coffee. Overall, good experience.
