To beat the summer heat, we visited this place. We had Mango Madness, Crunchy Chocolate Almond, and Crazy pistachios kulfi sticks. All were creamy and yummy. We plan to try out their kulfi slices next time.
My summer has found some relief 🙂 This place just brought back childhood memories of having kulfi as treats with family. The only difference is we don’t have to go to the beaches or streets anymore, it gets delivered straight to your house! The quality is not compromised and love how the flavours and taste (not to sweet which works for most) is maintained. I loved the shahi gulab and mango kulfi. Quite exotic an option for desserts at home, it was delivered on time and in perfect condition even in the terrible heat! Great work guys!
Honestly, the 5 stars are for the overall service, including delivery, product and customer serviceI placed an order for a box of 6 kulfis which, quite frankly were really well priced (395 for 6 kulfis of an assorted flavour is a sweet bargain)The delivery was from Jogeshwari and I was a tad bit sceptical it would be cancelled but it didn’t! So there was a slight glitch but I called on the number (which happened to be the owner’s number) and he was more than happy to answer my questions, check with the Restaurant and actually call me back. Coming to the taste and flavour – brilliant combinations and they’re all so creamy and delicious. And the right cheat size. Will definitely order over and over again.
Being the youngest, as a kid I remember being sent to a market close by to buy Kulfi & get it home. All of us would then sit together & enjoy it. Priced for Rs 5/- per piece, these were Malai Kulfi loaded with dry fruits. My mother is extremely finicky about a proper Malai Kulfi & was happy when she tasted the Kulfi’s sent over by The Original Chowpatty Kulfi. We tried the Mango & Chocolate-Almond. Mango Kulfi was loved the most. The flavor of the mango comes through without being overly sweet. It tastes & feels absolutely natural just like home made.Traditionally we are used to the basic flavours – Malai, Kesar, Pista, Mango, etc. Chocolate-Almond Kulfi is good experiment. The chocolate flavor is mild with the roasted almonds adding a good crunch.Available in a circular slab & kulfi form, looking forward to tasting the other flavours. petupetkar.com
I had ordered The Original Chowpatty Kulfi for family function over the weekend. It not only delivered in taste, but also brought back the typical Chowpatty kulfi nostalgia. Go get it guys and kudos TOCK for staying authentic! #Kulfi
