The customer service is really bad. Iam hardly that rude to rate someone 2! But, the experience which I had deserved that. I was here for their breakfast. Absolutely chaotic, uncleared tables and the staff looks so pre occupied. There were no cutleries and I requested for the same, the person immediately responds, it must be there in the table! Made me look like a fool! The second instance, where there’s no accompaniment with the parathas, so I ask the lady server, could you pls get me some pickles or something, unfortunately she goes to find the pickle and she comes back with a jar of pickle without spoon! Seriously! I give up and I sit quietly in a corner and obviously they are too busy to get back to me. I decide not to eat paratha then. 3rd instance, a woman comes around & asks to serve masala chai and since I prefer lemon tea, I tell I drink lemon tea, can you get me? She sheepishly smiles and vanishes!Well I would have definitely not expressed my views here, but, they kind is pushed me. I share my experience with the hotel staff and someone from staff comes to meet me during my dinner time to apologise and give his card. He promises that he will take care of it. Obviously I know, they will right. We are talking about Taj, after all!Next day I go for breakfast again and ask for a lemon tea and guess the kind of cutlery they served me with. The picture is attached. There’s a stained white cup with lemon tea. I had to take a pic and I share it again with the staff, just bunch of apology and nothing else.By the way, whilst checking out, the person incorrectly adds the breakfast charges, which was already included as per their mail confirmation. I had to point it out and again apology! The gist is, Taj is no more Taj! The service sucks, bunch of inefficient and uninterested staff work there who have zero finesse for details. Truly truly disappointed! Wish you realise what your brand stood for once upon a time.

Vista – Taj Lands End. Located in Taj Lands end in bandra West, Mumbai. Vista is one of the best multi-cuisine all day fine dine restaurant in the city. The place offers a luxurious and contemporary ambiance which makes it a perfect place to enjoy a great fine dinning experience. There are not many multi-Cuisine all day dinning that provide an ideal ambiance for a quick breakfast, business lunch or an intimate evening meal coupled with the mesmerizing view of the Arabian sea. The premium menu is in line with the varied tastes and preference of people and serves a variety of Indian , asian , and other Continental dishes. Recently one of my friend had suggested me to visit vista to experience the special navroz dinner that they are hosting at vista, the ala carte menu was curated by their Paris chef , Jehan Adenwallla. So what all did I have ? – Keema Pav. – Sillu aunty na kheema na cutlace. – Raspberry and mango soda. – Patra ni maachi. – Kolmi na kebab. Not many people know that I’m a half parsi and my mom who is a parsi loved the food and the whole experience that Taj Lands end and Chef Jehan Adenwallla have curated. Right from serving the much loved mango and raspberry soda, Having old parsi photos on the walls and the famous checkered table cloth that you find in old Irani cafes. taj lands end had created a modern take on a Irani cafe on point and in that process they have still kept the taste and authenticity of parsi cuisine. This was not my first visit to vista, I have been a regular there and keeping hand on my heart I can say that vista does the best buffets in Bombay. You’ll get everything from excellent Indian food, to great desserts to Western dishes that are world class. To experience vista at its best you can visit them to experience their Sunday brunch. When it comes to choosing a table, Stick to the one near the window so that you can enjoy the Arabian sea view while binging on some yummy food.

We went to vista to celebrate a bday. We reached a bit late around 3 pm so I guess they were busy wrapping up their buffet. The restaurant is huge and offers views of the sea. We got a table near the sea but somehow the blinds of the window would just not open so didn’t really get to see the view. There is a corridor with better views but they didn’t allow is to sit there saying it’s not meant for lunch. After a while some other people were sitting there and we were told that space is for VIPs / special meetings. Not sure what the case was.Food that we ordered was great though. We got a pizza, pav bhaji, pasta and one more thing (that I don’t recall). Service could have been better.Overall, I liked the place only for the food.
