This outlet is super old and I can remember forcing my mum to take me there almost everytime we passed it.Have tried multiple ice creams here..mango strawberry or just plain vanilla. THEY ALL TASTE AMAZING.Never tried actual food here.
After long hours of walking on a busy evening on Laxmi road, my mom took us here. During my mom’s college days, Ganu Shinde was considered modern and novel, so one can pretty much imagine how many years have gone by since its establishment. I’d ordered a Mango scoop ice cream, which was honestly okayish. Though it’s a good thing after so many years it’s still there, but the taste could have been way better. It needs to keep up with the modern taste of ice creams.
It is hot summer afternoon, you are window-shopping on the side-walks of Laxmi Road and all of a sudden you spot an Ice Cream parlor.. wouldn’t you be overfilled with Joy. That’s Ganu Shinde Icecream for you!This is a no-frills parlor with modest 4-5 wooden tables where you can enjoy the best Icecreams / Mastanis and Shakes.The Icecreams though usual flavors taste way better than the other well known parlors around. We tried Pista and Kala Jamun. Both were very good.A must visit when in the area.
