Happy to be writing the first review for this small tea house on the gangaghat in Nashik. This place is featured on many “best places of try Misal in Nasik” list. An absolute foodie, I made an early morning visit to Ganga tea house. One word of caution- do not expect a great ambience. The people who work here are hygienic but the old interiors and dated steel cutlery might turn off some of you— so do go if you are sort of a braveheart who judges a place on the quality of food and not on how it is served 🙂 The misal here is served with one papad, two pieces of pav and sweet curd. This is one specialty of Nasik- most places serve misal with this paraphernalia that makes the simple Misal a complete meal. This misal is distinct- it has a base of sprouted moong along with cooked poha that lends it a different taste. “Tarri” is unlimited- you can have as much as you need to suffice for your pav. The service is friendly and warm. It is very cost effective, with a plate costing 40 bucks. My full marks to the food.
