one place that we all loving going is because of the variety and taste. all cuisines under one roof and amazinggggg taste. when we as a family can’t decide which cuisine to eat, we unanimously head to woodlands. our fav place.
A long drive from Mumbai, the family was exhausted and hungry. We were looking for a jain veggie joint. This turned out to be one of the few options. We jumped straight onto the main course of punjabi subzi, dal and rotis. Garlic fried noddle was for the non-jain kiddos. Curd rice was the closing meal. Good place, decent food and clean ambience. They can improve on the serving time.
Nasiklub always does the great job of hosting various themes in the restaurant. The Sizzler Festival was definitely a big hit and I was highly impressed with the way Sizzlers were prepared. I didn’t missed Non-Veg, even for a second – I feel this best sums up my feelings!
Nandinee Woodlands restaurant at Nasik Club was a surprise find for us when we were looking for a dining place near to our accommodation at Nasik, which we reached late at night. We had some South Indian fare such as Bisi Bele Bhaath and Onion Uttappam, both of which were quite well made. We ordered some Rotis, Naan and a vegetable main course, which went by the name of Veg Angaara and even these turned out nice. Special mention of the staff who were very helpful and cooperative with our orders, especially considering the fact that we had arrived there late at night.Woodlands is one of those places which start early for breakfast and we really wanted to try it out the next day, but sadly didn’t get a chance. The menu offers Maharashtrian, Chinese and other varieties too and they also keep having monthly food festivals, celebrating the food of the month.I’m pretty positive to visit this Woodlands whenever I happen to be in this side of Nasik. Good job guys!
A very old and famous hotel in Nashik.A nice place to have breakfast, lunch & dinner.Even a excelente place to organise parties and events.Hotel arranged events are also worth attending.South Indian dishes, specially the sambhar and idly are a must try.North Indian and regional dishes are also very delicious. All the menu items seems to be a little over priced.
A Good veg restaurant with a great location!•Food: 3/5 i relished their mini spring rolls & Indian food! Tasted and liked veg seekh kebab, rumali khakra, paneer mumtaz, garlic naan and dal tadka.*Things i dint like: veg crispy (were served like dry fritters) sizzling brownie (had cashew nuts instead of walnut brownie with very less chocolate sauce) & Sizzler(undercooked veggies, soggy fries and lacking flavour)*Ambience: 3.5/5 I find it well lit, spacious and pleasant! *Service: on busy weekends the service is pretty slow and a bit disappointing, also the staff is comparatively less to handle the crowd hindering their efficiency. *cost- a bit on the costlier side
