The food was not worth the money at all. I’m an avid Zomato buyer and I have tried many places. Someone told me to try this restaurant. Having eaten at hundreds of eateries in my lifetime, I have got a general idea of what to expect. However, Ruchkarraje surprised me and not in a good way. The quality of certain items (mutton wade, pithala bhakri) was very bad. The quantity was laughable. You get exactly 4 tiny pieces of mutton out of which we had to throw out 2 as it seemed very tough and not fresh. The gravy tasted horrible. I got exactly 1 bhakri and the smallest amount of thecha you could imagine in my ‘pithala-bhakri-thecha’ combo. Had they left out the thecha from the description, I would have probably enjoyed it as a complimentary serving. I have never seen anyone go wrong with pithala before but unfortunately, it had no taste. Also, I had also ordered for surmai fry which was neither fresh nor well made. This is probably my 1st 1 star rating on Zomato but sorry to say, I think it is well deserved.
