Visited Chapara to appease my hunger pangs by feasting on this delicious snack – Misal which is their speciality. And oh boy! It tasted delicious. It is on the spicier side which is how it’s supposed to be.The sprouts had flavours and it was not only a gravy with sprouts in it. They served it with fresh pav. Besides Misal , I hogged over chana masala with bhature. The chana was very well cooked and it was awesome. Overall , you can visit this place if you gotta have some typical food from महाराष्ट्र!
The real meaning of chapara is something solid or on point, in local language we can say something which is ‘kadak’ and resembling the name the place promises to deliver their food with the authentic Maharastrian spice touch.Their Missal is amazing, it has all the flavours and a strong hint of spiciness. They have also added a Maharastrian touch to their chole bhature, which taste different in all the good ways. The Thaali Peeth is a must try from this place, the preparation is on the point.I loved their paav bhaaji, authentic Maharastrian flavours could be identified in the bhaavi which tasted amazing. The bhakri with matki ki sabji had a very homely feeling to it, absolutely loved the tasteTo sump up the place is best suited to try the authentic maharastra in taste.
Chapara MisalChapara means awesome or kadak in the local language. As the cool name this place is really cool. The venture is a great initiative to serve Maharashtrian food in food malls.Their menu includes authentic Maharashtrian dishes like Misal, fodnichi poli, thalipeeth, matki usal and bhakri, kothimbir wadi, and the list goes on.Their speciality is vatana misal. I was not sure if I can eat any other misal than matki and potato but believe me this misal changed my mind. It was equally tasty and good.I really loved the concept and the food here. Do visit this place for authentic Maharashtrian delicacies.Taste 4/5Service 5/5Hygiene 5/5Value for money 5/5
