Visited this place in a weekday , we were the last batch to get served , as they were just done with lunch session. The special of the place was food , sitting arrangement was just regular. In a hall tables & chairs were placed , still people were relish the thalis, I must say. They keep a chutney thali on every table , what compiles peanut chutney, green chutney, onion garlic chutney etc. Almost 6-7 types of chutneys were there. In food they served dhokla, sukha aloo subzi, roasted papad, chana masala, Dal, basoondi, dahi vara. There were different types of rotis , like bhakri, thepla & then masala bhaat & steam rice. All were good . Services was also good .
Since the We planned to come to Pune, my friend is after me to visit this restaurant. We get to visit this place on Wednesday for Lunch. We ordered Thali which is the only option at the place.Thali contains one paneer, one dry dal & one dry vegetable. It also comes with Kadi & three types of breads i.e. Daalpeeth (pulses & onion paratha), Bhakri (bajre ki roti) & Chapati. Also contains Dahi vada & Khandavi as snacks. After having this, they will serve rice & khichdi which can be had with daal or kadi.Sweet dish includes ras malai & gulab jamun.Taste – All the items taste really good. I liked Daalpeeth the most and ras malai (special part is that it is low on sugar)Ambience – Ambience was fine.Thali is reasonable considering the items offered. Best part is that restaurant offer Rs.30 discount in case of no wastage.Overall – Nice place to have Maharashtrian food. It was my first attempt for Maharashtrian food but a great one.

Had to be in the queue for at least 20 min before I got through to my table .. but with such crowd I guess it is normal .. the only thing I could not find good was the wash basin area too cramped and not well maintained ..But overall good exp of maharashtrian / Gujarati cuisine ..
