Hi all,Recently had a visit to the Shosha Buffet Barbeque and Bar which is located at Nerul west, below Beverly parks tower. The place where the Shosha is located is a very happening place. The concept of this restaurant is very great, basically they have a buffet system in which they have chaats counter, soups counter, starters and drinks they serve on your table they have a main course buffet and a desserts buffet. The quality of the food is just amazing and the place is great to satisfy your cravings. Here we tried many a things. In drinks :Summer breeze, mojito. In starters :Veg cheese pizza, chole samosa, pani puri, sev puri, Paneer chilly. In mains :That was a buffet in which they have palak Panner, Roti, noodles, Dal tadka. In desserts :Blueberry mousse, Rabdi, red velvet mousse, various types of biscuits, brownie with ice-cream.Overall the experience was great.Thank you.
Sosha is a buffet restaurant located at nerul..I visited this place last week and I was so amazed by their awesome ambience..the place is good with grooving music and delicious food..buffet spread had varieties of dishes to choose between veg and non veg..We were greeted by staff firstly and served with welcome drink..khokam juice and lassi..Then the starters were served..They have wide variety of startes from kebabs to pizzas to pani puri, cheese balls, prawns and many more..We enjoyed the starters along with mocktails..In main course there were variety of dishes from Indian to Chinese in veg and non veg..We enjoyed Kerala style mutton and butter chicken biryani..Desserts were the best part as there were variety of dessert options..Overall its a must visit place with your friends and family to experience great ambience, delicious food and grooving music
The place that was erstwhile Indigo Delicatessen is now transformed into this new avatar that apes the tried & tested mantra of offering a buffet minus the live starters on the table ala bbq nation etc. Ambiance is quite alright and well spaced out though the number of service personnel at hand is quite limited, ensuring that it takes time for them to attend to you even when there isn’t much of footfall present. They are nonetheless very polite and helpful.Welcome Drink on offer were Kokum & Kachcha Aam, avoided both as neither are my preferences. Missed out on Lassi, which sadly wasn’t available today. The veritable chaat counter is omnipresent though it is assumed that one has to self serve though you can request the service personnel to do the needful, it might take time for reasons as advised above.Did not try every dish as usually doing so fills you up very quickly, hence decided to try limited items, the details of which as under :Soup – Manchow Soup (2/5) Poor only due to excessive salt, otherwise ok in taste profile.Pani Puri – 2/5Simply average though am sure the pani puri loving crowd will simply gorge on them.Starters -Chicken Peshawari Tikka – 4/5Well marinated & balanced on the flavors profile. Sticky Chicken Wings – 3/5These were lollipops with sticky sweet and mildly spiced gelatinous coating. Just about ok.Spinach & Corn Tartlets – 4/5Nice one biters that were not spicy nor bland.Mac & Cheese Poppers – 3/5One biters that were quite bland, the droplets of chipotle did nothing except make it sour.BBQ Chicken Pizza Squares – 0/5Quite simply the worst pizza ever eaten! Everything was a disaster. The server was informed & readily agreed to get another one but I just advised that the chef be conveyed my disappointment.Mains -Kerala Roast Mutton – 5/5The star dish, I would go back just to eat this by itself! Rich and tender pieces of well cooked mutton were just so well spiced that it made me so very happy. Go easy on this if you want to eat the other dishes also as this is a slow bomber!Tandoori Chicken Biryani – 3/5Quite a good biryani in flavour profile only to be undone by chicken pieces which had become dry, truly a pity.Burnt Garlic Fried Rice – 4/5Strong garlic flavour was the only reason this dish was elevated, in keeping with the name, so will be appreciated by those who love their garlic.Chicken in Black Pepper Sauce – 4/5A perfect accompaniment to the burnt garlic friend rice, though it was a tad salty. The black pepper flavour profile was omnipresent but not in your face. The chicken pieces were coated in a dumpling like cover. Vegetable Hakka Noodles – 1/5Simply limp & overpowered by stinky cabbage, please avoid!Desserts -Chocolate Brownie – 4.5/5Rich, deep chocolate infusion and finely balanced with a semi soft interior with a slightly firm exterior, would have been great if it was served a little warm, then it would have surely got 5/5.Blueberry Shirkhand – 4.5/5Such a lovely texture with the right amount of sweetness & blueberry essence, too bad it gets over in 1 spoonful, but you can always have another one!Red Velvet Mousse – 4/5Nice one biter with a small dollop of fresh cream with small red velevt cake squares on top.Malpua with Rabri – 3.5/5Malpuas were perfect with traces of honey which one can enjoy minus the rabri which was not at all real rabri in truest sense.Kesari wala Phirni – 2/5Was not at all what a phirni should be.Ice Creams(Strawberry/Chocolate/Vanilla) – 1/590% ice 10% cream. Just avoid.Overall, for the price paid, I was quite satisfied but I don’t think I would visit it often unless they change the menu after a while.Ample parking space outside is also a boon, though that could change on a weekend.
This outlet is situated on the palm beach road in nerul best for buffet. On saturday i visited this place for lunch buffet. The best part is that they have elaborate menu for buffey at very budget friendly price. The menu is really great and the taste of food is also great. They serve lassi or kokam sharbet as welcome drink. That we can have only once. They have wide range of chaats out of which chole samaso is best. The chaat section is self serve. After that the starters we can order at our table unlimited times i love the prawns, pizza. After that they have counter for mains which they have wide range of indian cuisine and chinese cuisine. The veg and non veg section is different and all the food is hot as induction is used below every pan.The main and best part is the dessert the widest range of dessert we can only found here try the rabdi and chocolate icecream.———-personal rating———Taste:-9 5/10Service:-9.5/10Ambience:-9.5/10Value for money:-9 5/10Overall:-9.5/10
Buffet places have always been a great options to dine , for the variety of food they serve . But it was actual disappointment at Shosha .Firstly , as the name suggest barebeque , there was no barebeque served .Second , there wasn’t that much variety In starters as well . We could hardly have anything for the veg section .Third , the cocktail and Mocktails we ordered weren’t upto the mark . We asked. To chnaged them twice still wasn’t satisfied with the service .They do have chat counters as well , and the dessert section has all stored dessert I could not find anything fresh there .Final verdict : I don’t find this place worth a visit . You could definitely get a better deal outside at the same rates.
A very decent and chilled out place which serves only buffet all day! Yes you heard that right, they dont have A la carte option with them, only have buffet lunch and dinner. Though the buffet covers it all from drinks to desserts. They start with welcome drinks, have quick bites like sev puri, pani puri, dahi vada and salads, followed by appetizers served hot on table like paneer chilli, pizza bites, kebabs and much more. They have the main course laid out with 2 veggies, assorted breads, rice, lentil, chinese etc. Also have an amazing dessert counter consisting of cookies, mousses, icecream, malpua and rabdi. They have a change in menu daily so kindly check out with the outlet if anything specific to try out! Loved the place, worth the cost
I was at Shosha, last week for a dinner with my friends. So basically this place is known for Buffet. The well designed place wears a very elegant look.Tried few cocktails and mocktails before we flung into action with the food.Appetizers were served on the table which included chicken kebab, fish fry, prawns tawa, chicken BBQ pizza and chicken wings. From the Chaat counter, we made Samosa Chole Chaat for ourselves. For the mains there were variety of options and the menu keeps changing everyday. I tried the Kerala Mutton Curry, Butter Chicken along with roti ki thokri. Also there was flavourful and aromatic chicken tandoori biryani which I loved the most.Already heavy with the appetizers and mains, I just settled for a malpua and a Blueberry Shrikhand to finish our Happy meal on a sweet note.
