Visited Aunrangabad recently for a trip and stumbled upon this place near my Hotel. Cafe Durga is very famous in Pune for providing good cold coffees. So, my experience here was as follows-:Ambiance- Filled with a young crowd, they have a small seating with few chairs and tables outside and a few inside. I saw a stairway as well but I am unsure i they have a seating arrangement upstairs as well. They had nice yellow lights inside with good music numbers being played. Not a great ambiance but a good ambiance for a college crowd Adda. 3.5/5Service- I found the service slightly slow for a college crowd Adda type of place. They had one person retailing your bill which you have to go to the counter and pay and another guy taking your order and getting your food. An average service. 3/5Food- Only a couple of things really were good and the rest did not meet my expectations. We tried the following-:Hot Coffee- Rarely do I get such a fine Hot Coffee. A good and sweet Coffee topped with Hershey’s chocolate syrup and Cocoa powder. If you love a deadly combination of coffee and chocolate, then this coffee might just be your pick. I loved it and would go back and order this one always. 4.5/5Cafe Durga Maggi- A regular Maggi topped with lots of cheese and veggies which will totally transport you to Maggi Heaven. Loved this one and would order it again. 4/5Belgian Cold- When you have anything with the name Belgian in it, you would expect the ultimate chocolate taste which this drink failed to execute. Modestly priced but not close to the word Belgian. A usual Chocolate Milkshake with some Chocolate Sauce. 3.5/5Double Egg Omelette- Hated this one as it was burnt on the lower side. I can make a better omelette at home at less than half the price. Not worth it. Stay away. 2/5Cold Coffee with Chocolate Syrup- Had heard so much about this that had very high expectations and maybe that is why I did not like it as t was no where close to like the best Cold Coffee. A decent cold coffee with Chocolate syrup but the low rating due to the disappointment. Can be tried though. 2.5/5Will I come here again? It is a decent place and easy on the pocket. I will surely come for the hot coffee and the Maggi. Yum!!!
This is a place where you can grab a quick bite for an affordable price and decent taste but don’t expect to have good time or chill here.As I’ve noticed, the place isn’t very hygienic and that last time I got cheese shots from the place it was fried in very old oil and had black coverings on it. The chicken burger is pretty decent for a nominal price and the service is below average.Ordering from the place is not much of an issue and you should be satisfied enough.
A big dissent, no matter how broke you are. The crowd won’t be good at all and shall make you uncomfortable in your skin. College students and couples who fail to find a decent corner are patrons here. The food is okayish. Their Masala Paav is good.
Poor service they accept my order after 20 minute when i place order. service is most important think in hospitality industry actually they dont know what hospitality. Am i right ?
