We were at a two three day trip to Aurangabad Elora and Ajanta. Our first halt was at Aurangabad. The city of gates. We stayed very close to the station. On our city we came across Sidhaart Garden and Zoo. This was lunch time and we were desperately looking for a Non-Veg restaurant. As BHOJ was already closed we went onto the opposite side of the road and just by curiosity went into Kartiki to check if it was still open for lunch. I won’t regret the fact that despite being late for lunch they were decent enough to agree to serve food. As we were pretty hungry any food would taste like 5 star at that point. So my following review may be a little biased. But I will try to keep as lose to reality as possible.We ordered for Chicken Fired Rice with Chicken Chilly (dry) and Chicken Garlic gravy. The kitchen do customize the food as per customers request. We requested for less spicy main course and we were served as said. The Chicken Rice contained eggs also, decently cooked, not enough quantity for one. It will take one and half plate to feed one hungry young tummy. The Chicken Chilly was as per normal standard. Garlic Chicken was little pale though.I ordered Fresh Lime Soda (sweet) and my god was disappointed and disgusted to my inner guts. It was literally the worst Lime Soda I have ever tasted in my life. I even I am feeling a yaak in my throat while remembering the taste and writing the review.Butter Milk tasted heavenly (though it was actually normal) compared to the Lime Soda. I literally could not take more than one sip out of the Soda.Lastly I’m going to forgive them as the service was good. They even accept cards and have accommodation also FYI.
