Looking for a simple home made Maharashtrian meal, then this is the place. Don’t expect anything spicy that will tickle your taste buds, but expect nice homely food which will not harm your stomach.It’s a place where you just want to have a filling without troubling your tummy and wallet
Went here for lunch with a colleague. Ordered veg thali.Found a cockroach in salad. Waiter took away our plates. So ordered dal khichadi instead, again found cockroach legs in dal khichadi..This shows the worst hygiene conditions in kitchen.

We picked up the food for a family gathering. Too bad this place is a reputed one yet the food was stale. It stinked. I’m more than disappointed.
Vegetarian Maharashtrian thali with mild spice levels- closest you can get to home cooked Marathi meal in Pune. Very reasonably priced. A kind of place that would be your favourite default meal place on any day.Staff is polite, the setting is simple and the location is just great.
We couldn’t have asked for a more simple, delicious and VFM lunch than the one we had today at Badashahi.Situated just minutes from our place of work, this simple restaurant on Baner Pashan link Road offers snacks and unlimited Thali as well. We tried the Thali today and were bowled over by each and every item served to us. The Chhole usal, tomato saar (a tad sweet but tasty), Amti, Kachumber, Chapati, Plain rice, Masala bhaat, Papad and Buttermilk was just so tasty and made up for a satisfying meal.I understand that their snacks are pretty good as well and I look forward to trying it on my next visit in this area. The cherry on the cake are the very reasonable prices which offer a reason to visit again and again. I for one, definitely shall do so.
