Authentic south Indian breakfast. Run by a Tamil family. Will have a homely food experience. Recently renovated. Idli, Masala Dosa and Filter Coffee were the ones I tried and were good.
I have been to this place for whole three years when i was in Pune. Hidden gem in sus-pashan road for south indian breakfst items. As a south indian myself, i was craving for my ideal filter coffee in pune which is rather not easy to find. Didnt knew this place for first 6 months of my residence there. Once i got to know, it became my second home for food.Very friendly environment with good service and delicious food. Here you may try tamil nadu style idly where larger portions of north india eat karnataka/udipi style idly. Pongal is my one of the favourite dish which is available during morning times. You can even get parota/lachha paratha here during evening times.Food 5/5Service 5/5Ambience 4/5 came to know that it got renovated recently. So do not know how it is now.
Food: 4.5/5Service: 5/5Price: 4.5/5Order: idli, medu wada, dal wada, dosa, uttapam, parotta, kurma, filter coffeeHits: medu wada, dal wada, sambar, filter coffeeMisses: none- this was recommended by a tamil friend and then i visited it more than 10 times. The above ratings are based on those visits- the sambar and coffee are best you can get anywhere in Pune- it’s recently renovated and still very basic in terms of ambiance and seating. But focus on the food and you will like it- it’s run by entire family and service is homely
