I just loved the litti chokha here. At 50 rs a plate, it can’t get any better than this. Especially the chokha is too delicious to just have one time. Every time I go there, i end up having at least two or three plate with extra chokha and daal each time. My recommendation is must try
My review is for the visit at Wakad outlet, but it’s not yet on Zomato – Hence, sharing it here.While passing through the Pizza Hut, I saw this outlet many a times and had a curiosity regd Litti Chokha fora long time now. Being an Indori, anything that looks like a Bati – Instantly attracts me ;)Finally, I went to this place and got the dish parcelled for myself. So, one potion of their litti chokha meal includes Two ghee dipped Litties, Chokha, Chutney and a li’l salad. The guy roasting the Batis on Tandoor was a nice and friendly guy and gave me sime details about the dish as well.So the Litti is basically a Bati, with Chana sattu filled in its core – It was too good.Chokha is Aalu Baingan ka Bharta, which to me – felt a bit raw or under cooked and flat in taste and it was a bit too gingery to my liking. Would have preffered chana daal iver it anyday :pChutney was ok.Taste -3/5Pocket Friendly 3.5/5Ambiance, Hygiene 2.5/5
