I have been to this place earlier as well and had enjoyed the food then!So this time i took some of my friends who were visiting Pune. But was quite not happy with the food this time!Very average! One of my friends had food restrictions and we requested food options without onion and garlic. The server was quite hesitant and couldn’t even suggest any dish. Finally we scanned and asked if certain dishes could be made after which he got us honey chilly potatoes which surprisingly was the best dish we ate for the evening. There were quite a few dishes which were in the menu but they dint have. Finally we asked the server to suggest good chicken dish and he recommended chicken Schezwan kababs which dint have any Schezwan taste and were very dry and not tasty! We ordered grilled chicken sandwich with feta which was good! Then we ordered a pizza again without onion and garlic and it was sweet by probably slathering ketchup instead of the actual sauce. Not a great food experience!

Winter menu:On the busy lane of the East Street, Camp area, you find double decker red bus and telephone booth you are just an step away to witness the #LondoninPune vibes. The café is designed on London market theme brings attention to lots of people but the place not only known for the ambiance and iconic bus but also for the food and music too. From the variety of cocktail to booze here they do have an vast food menu includes Indian, Italian, Chinese and Continental cuisines. We headed to this place not to savour from the regular menu item but an exclusive winter dishes which will be ended on February 2020.As the winter season is on going they have the special delicacy which are handpicked by the people choice in there winter menu. So here are what we had tasted.Hyde ParkI asked for mocktails suggestion to steward Mehtab, he said to try this and yes it was worth. Totally refreshing kiwi, green apple and basil based drink balanced in sweet have the fruity taste. This is good way to start the meal with this mocktails.Half Meter KebabCertainly half meter of Seekh Kebab serves on bed of roti spread with tomatoes chutney, roasted chillies, two little portion of coleslaws. The mutton minced seekh kebab was moist, juicy balanced with spices medium spicy in taste, roti was crisp and goes well with kebab while the tomato chutney help all together as it little spicy. Accompanied with hummus, mint chutney and tomato chutney. An meal in itself, don’t miss this here.Broccoli and Potato CroquettesThe croquettes was crisp from outside and soft inside filled with cheese and potatoes serves with cream cheese dips sure to please anyone. But, the broccoli was little amount this need to be added more. You can try for this.Amritsari Chole with Amritsari stuffed KulchaThe regular chole prepared in Amritsari style serves along with Kulcha stuffing with boiled potatoes, fined chopped onion and coarsed coriander seeds and accompanied with pyaaz imli ki chutney. Chole was too tangy, found pomegranate seeds in bites but taste okay while stuffed Kulcha have the coarsed coriander seeds in bite. Didn’t taste the chutney as Chole is too tangy for my taste buds. Feedback given to manager hopefully they will rectify it.Old Monk Anda Masala with Butter NaanJust simple dhaba style anda masala but cooked well. The gravy was good in consistency mild spicy in taste while butter naan was soft and little crisp easily breakable as usually the best duo. Personally, I found this regular one no idea about taste of rum. Serves with onion and lemon wedges. Can give an try.Makai ki Roti & Sarson ka SaagThe winter is incomplete without this classic combo. The saag was strong in taste of spinach and mustard as it prepared fresh while makke ki roti is soft with little white butter on top of it. Saag was balanced with the extra white butter. Serves along with white butter, jaggery and raddish. Little more dollop of white butter in saag will surely balanced it. Rest good in taste and cannot be missed in winter over here. Recommend to go for it.Punjab Cream Chicken with Laccha ParathaThe one of the must have dish here. The chicken cooked in rich and creamy gravy with glazed of butter, this surely win my heart. The chicken was soft tender gravy taste mellow and creamy with slight sweetness from onion. Laccha paratha was little thick, but both tasted good combo accompanied onions and lemon enhance the taste. I highly recommend to do try this combo here.Jinna’s Shahi Jeera AalooSimple yet delicious Shahi Jeera Aaloo prepared with Jeera and Shahi Jeera little spicy and finely balanced taste goes well with Paratha serves. Jeera, fined chopped onion & green chillies in paratha make it more interesting. Served with onions and lemon wedge. Can give an try.Homestyle Chicken Curry with Crew RiceMany of the times simple dishes leave lasting impression and this is one example of it. Just an regular curry prepared with onion tomato yoghurt with plain rice surely comfort one. Chicken was cooked well and had absorbed all the spices well. Slightly aromas of spices, little oil on the top and balance spicy in taste is what described the comfort food, isn’t it? Can go for as it is with onion slice and lemon wedge. Definitely check this here.Gajar ka Halwa:The winter cannot be completed with this delightful dessert and the café has surely keep the space for it. Gajar ka Halwa was moist, warm and sweet enough just to soothes palates and makes one happy. What an ending of the winter meal, isn’t it?Whatever dishes serves on the exclusive winter menu is regular and mostly prepare at home in winter days. But what makes it interesting is that they bring out the dishes from across the North India and some regional together, possibly try to serves the actual flavors and aroma of the regions. The each dishes serves on the table truly signify the passion and dedication by the team to serve the customer which I think this is what makes the place to stood the test of time over an decade. This is must check out place to booze-up with excellent food and good music surely you will create the memories which will be lasted and make you to revisit.Happy Eating!

This place is full of surprises. Everytime I come they have something new to offer. I started with thukpa from the winter menu. Piping hot n spicy, this is what I needed for my blocked nose. Loved every drop of it. Next we tried the non spicy pan fried chicken schnitzel. Crunchy fried chicken topped with cheesilicious black pepper sauce was the perfect balance to the thukpa. The meat overload pizza was in reality an overload of meats on a crispy, crunchy base but I would have wanted it to be more cheesy. We ended with the Lindt hazelnut fudge topped with vanilla icecream. This one cannot be shared. We were literally fighting for each bite. Overall had a lovely time over some fabulous music n food..

We travelled from Mumbai to visit cafes in pune and this was on our list. And it was worth the travel.Ambiance is superb. Wonderful music running behind and old British vibes. On a Saturday afternoon it was just to good to be there. We ordered chicken barbecue and chicken fingers.Chicken fingers were lil spicy but taste was very good. Quality of chicken was good too.Barbecue chicken wasn’t spicy but had a different flavour all together. But both dishes were good. And it was quite stomach feeling. They add service charge in your bill, which was surprising.Service was good too. We were worried about the availability of parking. But pay and park facility is available at the restaurant.

This was literally the first place I visited in pune. I have found memories of their burgers . This time we ordered the English chicken and paneer tikka. Both were very good . It would be great to see this place project itself more as a restaurant than a pub
