I have been to Mahanaaz when it used to big swanky place on MG road. One of the abiding memories of the place apart from the Tea was the beef mince samosa. Sadly its not on the menu now and the Chicken samosa is absolutely no match for it. The Tea sweet orange coloured continues and the restaurant has loyal patrons coming for that and bun maska.

#TeaTime #chickenSamosa #vegSamosa .The bunmaska and chai was good. Chicken samosa was better than the veg ones. Not much oily . Loved the irani chai 🙂

One more place for breakfast in camp, Irani Ishtile. But it was also known for their samosa, but the taste is not the same, i think Jabbar’s samosas are better.Broon maska tea is still excellent

Want to have a eggilicious day.. Visit this small joint off mg road.. It is small outlet running from years serving various egg dishes as well as other bakery dishes.. We had taken half fry, boiled egg, bhurji, bun butter & tea.. This stuff is simple yet neatly done.. The pricing is a deal & ambience is just ok.. One can think of visiting this place for a breakfast or satisfy the evening hunger..!!

Mahanaaz is well known food outlet for snacks especially samosas. It is just behind Budhani Waferwala. Small food joint with their samosa fans. Mix of spices they used in samosas were outstanding particularly in chicken patti samosa. Veg samosa have lots of veggie mix. They serve with their homemade sauce. Overall one can try stuff from this food outlet. Food quality and taste: 3.0/5.0Food quantity: 3.0/5.0Ambience: 3.0/5.0Staff and service: 3.0/5.0Value for money: 3.0/5.0

This Irani Hotel on the lane behind Budhani Wafers is the remnant of the noble Naaz/ Mahanaaz which was once opp. Aurora Towers. Landed here with high spirits on a rainy morning which took me down the memory lane as it was one of the formal places on our list during school days. The ambiance is exemplary of such joints where you voluntarily share your table with strangers.Ordered the Irani chai and Bun Maska, a typical breakfast that remains un-altered in its status and taste. Next were the veg samosas. A plate serves six, you can have as much and the rest is taken back. The taste of the samosas had hardly changed over the years however the size sure did.A bang for the buck, lucid place with lightening fast service and awesome samosas makes it a must visit!
