I really really love the grilled fishes here, and my mom, who is a big seafood lover is just as in love with them. I loved the grill red snapper personally, it was loaded with taste and the flesh was soft and cooked so good
Discovered this place recently. If you are a die hard Goa cuisine foodie, this place is a wish come true. My first order was Chorizos, Surmai Thali and Chicken curry. The Chorizos were bang on and took me back to Goa with the first bite. Although I missed the capsicum in it, still didn’t matter since the spice, vinegar and mild curry was perfect with Pavs. Surmai Thali wasn’t bad but the soul curry was missing in the parcel. The pics of a fish thali in photos show a soul curry bowl, so was expecting it. Chicken Curry was quite distinct but it was quite salty. My next round of order was the Buffalo Thali. The greenish curry, delicious, but again quite salty. Both the times had to balance out by adding extra lemon. Would have loved to taste the original without the lemon. They served 2 Buffalo mince patties with the Thali which were quite good. I think the kitchen should do a few test rounds for the salt levels since the salt is definitely on the upper side. I’ll keep trying more from their menu, esp. the Steaks. Haven’t ordered them yet since I see no option to select the steak doneness. Hope they add the option soon. Overall quite happy with Marks Bistro’s cuisine. Will update my review as I go about tasting more from them. – TRUTH FOR FOOD
I had been to Mark’s bristo tried couple of dishes like , Pork Roast and pulled pork was very tender and awesome in taste, also tried Chicken & Mutton cutlets were delicious with tasty spices , and want to visit again & try out other dishes on menu soon.A must try for one and all.
Have ordered the breakfast & my favourite pork dishes. Cutlets are amazing. The pork sorpotel gravy needs to be little thick. The Choriz served with pao; gravy was watery. Else its fine.
One must try their fish dishes especially prawn curry and Fish Tawa fry. They prepare fresh starting from scratch once you place the order. Also it’s reasonably priced. Don’t notion over the ambience and surrounding. You may have to walk a distance after parking but it’s worth for a authentic Goan traditional tasty food.
The pork chilly fry was excellent. The menu at Mark’s was the best book I read this week. I hope to be back to taste more. Best wishes and keep it up!
