Recently ordered this to try some place new. The delivery was much quicker than I expected. I ordered the following options1. Dal makhani rice bowlThe quantity of rice was more than enough for one and was a good long grain.The Dal makhani was lightly spiced and not extremely creamy, it had a good neutral taste to suit most taste buds. However the amount of Dal wasn’t sufficient enough for the entire quantity of the rice and thus left the rice very dry.If they maintain the taste, it is a good fail-safe. However can better the Dal-Rice quantity mix!Paneer Tikka Rice BowlThe rice was tossed in turmeric and had a good flavour. The paneer curry was really nice but again the amount of curry compared to the rice could have been better and the paneer a little fresher!
Worst experience. Do not order from this restaurant. I had ordered 2 rice dishes from this outlet at 1.40pm and my estimated delivery time was 2.18pm. No zomato agent was assigned for this order. When at 2.30pm I enquired about my order and called the restaurant, their number was switched off. After almost 1 hour, I got a call from the restaurant’s delivery boy saying that he will deliver the order in the next 15 minutes. I called him back after 10 minutes (I was obviously hungry) and he told me ‘Udd kar thodi aa raha hu. Raste me hu gadi chala raha hu’. I sent him back and cancelled my order. His name is NIKHIL SAHU. Pathetic.
Being a vegetarian, I always look for restaurants or food places serving pure vegetarian meals which would taste just as good as home made food. But i barely find such restaurants in Nagpur.Well, can’t say that anymore because ‘the good bowl’ is something I’ve been looking for since a really long time in the town and now that i know about this place, i don’t miss even a single chance to order meal boxes from them.Absolutely loved their paneer tikka rice bowl and mac n cheese with paneer steak bowl.I keep ordering from them whenever I’m not in a mood to cook food at home but wants to have homely meal anyway.The packaging and delivery I’d like to specifically mention, it’s just amazing. Like top notch.They serve smoking hot food in a bowl which keeps food very well packed and safe.Rates are moderately priced.Quality and quantity of food justifies the rates.All in all, it’s one of my favorite food ordering restaurants in nagpur.I’d rate it 5/5 for everything ❤
It’s surprising that I never came across this brand of food before keeping in mind what an avid food explorer I am. One fine evening , I decided to skip the healthy meal and order the mac and cheese bowl with meat bowl. The order reached in 30 mins. For 220₹ I found the quantity of the food extremely less didn’t seem sufficient even for half of my tummy. As I began eating the pasta , it was cooked perfectly and the taste was good UNTIL !i found a few starands of hair in my pasta ! What’s even more disgusting is that , being a doctor I am sure that those were pubic hair ! Never expected this from a company with such good reviews . Mistakes do happen but finding a minimum of 5/6 pubic hair in your dinner is not acceptable .
One afternoon when i did not bring lunch.. and was looking something indian and homely, freshly prepared with spices intact i got this Dal makhani bowl !! And this was just perfect couldn’t have asked for more . Taste is mindblowing and serving in a proper bowl neatly packed And most important served hot!! 5 starts for this
Had ordered in from The Good Bowl.. and the food was amazing. So much variety! Had called for the chicken tikka bowl which came with an omelette.. it was so good! Their barbecue chicken was also good. Looking forwards to trying out some more options.
