Small outlet located on a road side shop, very similar to most of the misal joints. We tried Kolhapuri Kutwada, Kutwada is nothing but the Maharashtrian version of vada sambar. Where instead of sambar misal rassa is served with the potato vada. We also tried Dum misal with some kala (Nashik) and tambda (Kolhapuri) rassa. Both had different tastes. Overall taste was good. They do allow to share the misal.
Ambience- Very basic similar to a local hotel with some plastic chairs, nothing fancy. Food- Ordered a Sharing Tambda Rassa Misal for 90/- which came with a papad, dahi, 4 pavs, some extra farsan and the cut obviously! The taste was pretty good tbh. It was somewhat similar to the Katakirr misal. I liked the quantity as it was sufficient for 2 people. What I did not like was when I asked for some extra onion they charged 10/- for that! I haven’t seen a place which charges for extra onion instead all the misal places I’ve been to already give sufficient onion. The surge in the price of onions shouldn’t be a reason. However, one can definitely give this place a try because the taste and quantity are good.Staff- The boy who served us was pretty sweet and again nothing too fancy just a local place with some good food.
Went here for the first time..ordered nashik misal..it came with bowl of sprouts faraan some kala rassa topped wid sev, bowl of lime and chopped onion, pav jodi, dahi and papad..and kala rassa big bowl..i enjoyed this misal so much as being nashik misal it was not spicy yet flavourful..i added kala rasaa so many times asked for extra onion, pav and enjoyed yummy misal on a rainy day..nice experience
