Chulha ___________________________________________________________________________ SEATING ARRANGEMENT & SERVICE : ( 4 / 5 ) This is at 14th floor of Meridian Business centre which is visible right outside from sanpada Railway station. Well, I would suggest not to go by map and follow route from vashi , but rather follow from sanpada station as its hardly 2 minutes walking distance. Decent seating arrangement. Bar is well stocked. Lighting was lit. Whether you go for brunch or Dinner, you shall witness the Stunning view from the restaurant. Ambiance is great. So, we started of with some Moctails : COCO JUMBO ( 5 /5 ) Signature mocktail from chulha. Served in coconut shell itself with coconut water and Coconut milk. Completely refreshing drink. APPLE BASIL MARTINI ( 4 /5 ) Walk up and raise your glass and say in terms of james bond, “Martini – Apple basil martini “. Apple Juice and sugar syrup along with the Hint of basil leaves. Gives you complete mint flavour. Although felt it on sweeter side, but tasted good. PEERU MERU PYAALA ( 4 /5 ) Moctail with perfect balance of Spice. It has red chilly powder at the bottom followed by guava drink at top. You can see the partition when it is served. Recommended to shake the mocktail before sipping or else you shall end up with red chiily drink present at the bottom. KIWI AND PINEAPPLE MADRASS ( 4 /5 ) Combination of Pineapple juice and Kiwi juice. Tastes good. SODA FOUNTAIN ( 4 /5 ) As the name suggest, has lot of soda and sugar syrup, gives that sweet flavour. PEACHED ICE TEA ( 4.5 / 5 ) One of the most underrated ice tea. With the flavour of Peach and hint of Mint, its gives the refreshing feel. One of the best ice tea one can have. PINA COLADA ( 4 / 5 ) Made from Chilled milk, Pineapple juice and coconut, the most common mocktail you can come across. Tastes good. Then moving on to Appetizers STUFFED PANEER TIKKA ( 4.5 / 5 ) Cube cut Cottage cheese marinated with Ginger garlic paste, turmeric , yogurt and garam masala. It is then put on the skewer with one piece of cottage cheese followed by cheese cube, green bell pepper, onion ring and repeating the same procedure for the next. Paneer would melt in your mouth. SOYA CHAAP ( 4 / 5) Well, although many of us find very less vegetarian spread but to our surprise , Chulha made some fantastic touch to Soya. Yes, Soya chunks were given the new definition and its called the Soya chaap. Resembling to cutlet and may taste like non vegetarian appetizers but trust me, its completely veg and has that spicy hint to it. Excellent dish for vegetarian brothers. CHEESE CORN BALLS ( 5 / 5) My personal favorite, and most satisfying in cheesy dish. Made from potatoes, Processed cheese, Corn and refined flour ( Maida ). The mixture of the above is made into small ball shaped and is deep fried. The end product is crispy and when you just break it, you can see the hot cheese. I would recommend to have it early so as to avoid the sogginess. CHICKEN IN HUNAN STYLE ( 4.5 / 5) Made from boneless chicken chunks along with chopped garlic – ginger, Onions, Bell-peppers, sauteed with Honey, soy sauce, Bean sauce ( or sweet wheat sauce ) and vinegar. The honey and bean sauce gives the sweet hint to chicken chunks. Tastes good. POMFRET IN CHILLI OYSTER SAUCE ( 4.5 / 5) Large size pomfret fish with its complete fillets removed & barbecued and the barbecued fish is then cooked along with Shallots, Button mushrooms, Potatoes with hint of Ginger- garlic, Pepper, Soy sauce & Oyster sauce. The dish is served in the same Skeletal remains of the pomfret which is cleaned hygienically to give a mind blowing presentation. Excellent taste. BANJARA KABAB ( 4.5/ 5) Medium size boneless chicken pieces are marinated with yogurt, Ginger- Garlic, Lemon juice, Red chilly, Sesame, Cumin Coriander & is then put to rest. Then it is put on skewers & placed in the tandoor. The spicy marination gives the kick to the Kebab and taste extremely good. The chicken pieces were tender. SURMAI TAWA FRY ( 4 / 5) Surmai Fish ( or the Sheer Fish) is marinated well with mustard oil, Turmeric, Red chilly, Ginger – Garlic paste. The marinated fish is then marinated with rice flour and is fried in tawa. The cooking procedure is slow cooking of fish so as to get the maximum flavours. In mains we had, CHULHA SPECIAL CHICKEN BIRYANI ( 5 / 5) The Traditional Indian Mughal dish in which the chicken is marinated in spices & cooked with steamed rice in oven to give the smoky flavour. Here, As the name suggest, made from in house spices and cooked to the perfection. The rice was so well cooked along with the chicken that it reflected in each and every single bite. With good portion size , this would give complete satisfaction to the meal. This dish is highly recommended. MUTTON BHUNA ( 4.5 / 5) Mutton ( Lamb ) mince is cooked along with bone pieces of Mutton, Onions, Yogurt, Ginger- Garlic, Tomato puree & spices such as turmeric, black pepper, red chilly, coriander, cumin and garam masala. The dish is perfected & is garnished with cilantro leaves. MURG PATIYALA ( 4 / 5) Medium size boneless pieces of Chicken Tikka cooked in Red gravy made of Tomato, Onion, Almond – Raisin paste, Ginger-Garlic , Red chilly, Turmeric, Corriander, CLoves and garam masala along with omellete. This goes well with steamed rice and indian breads. DAL MAKHANI ( 5 / 5) The most authentic north indian dish made of Black lentils ( Sabut Urad ) , Kidney bean (Rajma ),Bay leaf (Tej patta), Cumin, Turmeric , red chilly, Tomatoes, Green chilly. The texture was thick and creamy thanks to the cream used in preparation. Credit to the chef for making this dish standout among the other dish. Boon for the vegetarian counter parts. Recommended dish to try out. ASSORTED ROTI ( 4.5 / 5) Right from Stuffed naan, Tandoori roti, garlic naan, Plain naan, Missi roti and kulcha. You can find all the indian breads in this. Goes well with dal makhani and Murg patiyala. And , how can we miss the deserts ANGURI GULAB JAMUN ( 4.5 / 5) Dough made of Khoya and refined flour is deep fried and soaked in sugar syrup. The small ball shaped look is given to it and hence the name anguri. Served hot & Garnished with shredded pistachio and tastes good. SIZZLING BROWNIE ( 4.5 / 5) Dark Chocolate brownie toped with A large scoop of vanilla ice cream. It is served in the sizzler plate and chocolate syrup will be poured in front of you on the brownie. Looks temting and tastes great. ASSORTED KULFI ( 4.5 / 5) Complete rainbow coloured kulfi. Here, you can have different pieces of kulfi ranging from pista , guava, pista and many more. Something different .
Visited this place for a nice family dinner. The ambience is simple and nice with soft music playing in the background. It gets really packed on weekends so it’s best to book a table before visiting. The staff is very courteous, especially the manager. The food was good too. Really enjoyed the murg mussalam with hot rotis. Their rotis are also so soft and tastes best when eaten hot.Must visit..

Had the wonderful roof top dinning experience at 14th floor of Merdidian Building on Sunday 29th Sept with family.AC section is spacious with good ambience and non AC section gives bird’s eye view of Vashi and Sanpada.Murg Dilkush Kebab in starter and Jhinga Masala with roti was enough for 3 family members. Zomata Gold offer of 1 + 1 on food was made our bill picket friendly.Special thanks goes to Capt Ramesh who suggested us the above dishes from the menu which was delicious.Best place much above the sea level to enjoy food and music with friends and relatives.
One of the best views in Navi Mumbai. The food is mainly Oriental and North Indian. The service could be improved. Not very happy wit the service.Other than that, overall had a good time
Ambiance is good only music is missing’ For large group it is good place to visit Their food quality is excellent and quantity wise is also enough.whatever we order is upto the standard and fully satisfied.
