My all time fave place..Tastiest food out of all mid priced restaurants in Nasik. They have “Khatiya” style. separated places for families and drinkers. bdw they even play movies/ songs/ matches on a big projector screen screens sometimes..they offer drinks too..what else do you need !!

Ambience is good. Food is awesome. Too many mosquitoes. Can hang out and chillax here. One of my favourite places. I get the dhaba wala feeling in city. I definitely recommend his place. And do try steam tandoori chicken. One of my favourites!!!!
I just loved the food. Full of flavour and extremely delicious. The service was quick and prompt. Specially recommended for food lover.. The tandoori chicken, fried fish and butter chicken were no doubt delicious All in all, a good place to get drunk and eat your fill.
I went yesterday night and the Food was abysmal. It ruined my sunday night dinner. We ordered masala papad, hara bhara kabab as starters. And Veg Kolhapuri and Dal Fry as Main course. Dal fry was not tasting good. There was no salt and no spice. When we told them, they took it to the kitchen and came back with dal full of red chilli powder. Along with that was veg kolhapuri which tasted like a handful of red chili was put in it. It felt like we were being punished for telling that food did not taste good. It was such a horrible experience that we immediately asked for bill. They tried to pacify us by giving a 10% discount on bill which can not be enough after such a horrible and tortutorus experience. I would prefer starving rather than going to such a shitty place again. Worst food and experience ever in my life!
First time had been there had ordered some chicken dishes. The chicken was very fresh, tender and juicy. Tasty if everything we ordered was great. So the second time we again visited just fir our diss appointment, chewy chicken, under cooked rice, biting mosquitoes at day time too, slow service, staring staff. Had a very worst experience and now its out of our visiting list.
Makalu name sounds more funky but its a kind of Dhaba experience.Dhaba type sitting area. Food : I loved the Chinese food served here, but the desi chicken handi was disappointing. Paneer starter was good, but the main course was not better.
