This place has completely lost its charm , the taste and quality has Deteriorated over years. We went there to eat in a group of 14 people on Saturday afternoon for lunch , the food was oily and lacked taste , the papad were damp and not at all crispy. The service too was lame , we literally had to wait for everything right from the sabji to the chapatis even when the restaurant was half empty. Definitely never going again
Good place, Sunday is a day to visit as you get puranpoli , a sweet ,Dahi wada (sweet),hot kachori/pakoda ,subji was bit oily and bit spicy taste has changed a bit since past. Hot fulkas keeps on coming,dal kadi taste like old times. You need to visit the place when your stomach is empty very hungry.
While the food here is alright, the staff could do well by learning some manners. They forgot to pack the dessert in our parcel and when I called to ask them to deliver it 2km away, the chap simply cut the call. On calling back, I spoke to the manager (also quite the jerk) who only laughed at the actions of his junior and kept insisting we take extra the next time we’re there instead and then cut the call. Like I’m coming back there. Fat chance.
Excellent food for a very affordable price. Unlimited thali is definitely worth it. Service is very good. They make sure that you eat as much as you can!
I think I am writing for other hotel Pangat Thali of Panchvati at Shalimar. I went for lunch on Sunday thought there would be good varieties but it was normal meal no varieties. The quality of food is good worth eating but very low on expectation as compare to Mumbai Rajdhani Thali
Very bad experience. The staff is not interested at all. They are not cooperative. They are just interested in thalis they dont care if you’re going for a ala carte menu( your choice food) the food is just YUCK there is no spice,salt,taste in the food. I won’t suggest this place to anyone it was my worst nightmare. I am sure i am never visting this place again. I hope this review is seen by concern person and he/she takes keen interest to improve the staff. I would rate is 0/10
