we went to taste authentic kolhapuri flavour bt they were missing somewhere..ambience is okay and servicing was also not upto the mark ..we orderd mutton kharda thali they were not having jawar bhakri which is important in authentic kolhapuri thali. pandhra ,tambda rassa was good mutton khrda was as name suggest was spicy bt mutton in the dish ruined it because it was not of good quality and quantity wise also mutton was very less ..pulao rice was good ..overall it is a one time visit kind of a place ..
Taste was not that great compared to other Purepur Kolhapur outlets. Mutton Kharda thali was very very spicy.. Mutton fry thali has mild taste. Tambada rassa was good but pandhara rassa was not that good. We didn’t understand anything what waiter said. His Hindi was very confusing. He was not familiar with the menu.
Just because of name of kolhapur we going to this restaurant but we Lost all our hopesFirst the taste was not like typical kolhapur tambda pandhra rassa the chicken was just ok so we waste our money and day also
If you wish to have an authentic Maharashtrian Food I bet this place will not disappoint you at all. Great ambiance, courteous staff and above all yummiest finger licking food which one must try!
This review is based on a single visit and honestly.. I did not find it worth the money.Ordered 2 different chicken thalis for us.Chicken Fry Thali :- 250/-Dhangari Chicken Thali :- 250/-(Chicken dish, half egg curry, tambda/pandhra rassa (unlimited), 2 chapati/1 bhakri, Onion mixed with curd & rice )First of all.. both chicken dishes lacked the taste of salt in them. So after adding some on it, the dishes were better.. Also they could not justify both dishes with equal quantity of masala in them. Dhangari chicken dish had twice the masala in Fry dish.Chicken Fry did not feel like a special dish as mentioned in menu card. Dhangari chicken was something different..Service was good. Friendly staff.Good location. Good Ambiance for indoor seating.They also have outdoor seating..Food : 2.5/5Ambiance : 4/5Service : 4/5Location : 5/5Rates : 2.5/5
Best place for foodies!!! I ordered chicken kharda thali, which is the speciality of the restaurant, and enjoyed a lot!! Perfect blend of the spices made the food very tasty, and the tambda pandhra rassa which they serve with the thali is awesome! Loved the food!!
