I was in this restaurant for a casual dinner on a sunday. i had ordered a mackerel fish thali. They sent their service boy to buy fish from the market as they did not have enough customers demanding fish. So i was lucky to be served with fresh fish. In that fish thali of 170/- rupees i got a full medium size mackerel fry. A thali consisting of two rotis, one papad, pickle, one small plate of rice, and one small plate of fish curry which had two pieces of mackerel(head part and a tail part) which was impressive. Fish was fresh but the dissapointment i had was the curry was prepared in a bengali style. A restaurant being in Mumbai, i was obviously expecting a malvani preparation rather than a bengali style fish curry. Nevertheless , the taste wasn’t bad. The restaurant was filled with smoke while frying mackerel. Restaurant needs more professional touch.
