I heard too much about this place from my friends and food bloggers about this place.I ordered Khichadi With cucumber raita. The taste quite good but not upto expectations.Ambience was just fine as very small joint this is.But can give try if you like Sabudana Khichadi A lot.
I was planning since long to visit Appa for long time and finally made it in last week. Khichadi kakadi is the specialty of this tiny hotel. Khichadi was not exceptional, but the kakadi koshimbir was good which made the dish delicious.
You won’t find sabudana khichdi and kakadi (khi-kha as they call it here) better than Appa in Pune. Their seating space is small and congested, but it adds to the experience.
‘KhiKa’ is what Appa is famous for and it stands by it. Khicadi Kakdi can never be so soft and luscious. It was just melting in the mouth. Just delicious!! They serve from 8am to 8pm and are open all days. The shop is located exactly diagonally opposite to Omkareshwar mandir in Shaniwar Peth. They have seating on the upper level as well. Worth a visit for KhiKa.
Had heard a lot about this resto- one among the legendary outlets of pune.Its food taste even better than heard.Pohe, sabu khichdi, misal, wada sambhar & daily special menu diff days of week.Must visit ❤️
Appa.. This name is very famous in pune..Known place to bachelors and puneri people..Famous dish is kakadi khichdi..Raita and sabudana combinations go well..
