‘Perch-All day all night’ is a new restaurant located near FC road. The ambiance of this place is very good with lots of greenery inside. Once you get inside, you’ll feel a lot more pleasant and calm. They’ve a good, wide range in menu. We tried :Anna’s Filter Coffee : A typical strong, frothy, South Indian filter coffee. A perfect coffee you can have in the breakfast or evening.Chlorophyll : A very healthy yet tasty smoothie prepared from spinach, apple, celery, ginger and lemon. It was really good.Dal Shorba : This shorba was really creamy and delicious with a hint of black pepper. It was topped with fried onions which gave a nice taste to itGarlic bread with Cheese : The bread was so fresh and soft. It was good but I felt quantity of garlic can be increased.Pav Bhaji Cutlet : It was basically a veg cutlet with a crisp texture but it hadn’t any flavor of pavbhaji. It was served with mint mayo which was good individually but wasn’t complementing cutlet well.Button Idli Thali : It was so good. Mini idlis were served with coconut chutney, podi and ghee. All the accompaniments were superb.Nano Batata Wada : Mini Batata wadas were served with cheese sauce. I felt the batata wada was lacking in flavours so didn’t appeal me much.Hummus and Pita : Hummus was really smooth and creamy topped with olive oil and some pomegranate seeds. I liked it.Patrani Malai Paneer : Paneer was marinated in a sweet and tangy green chutney and then steamed inside banana leaf. Paneer was very soft but I didn’t like the overall combination of this dish.Chole Puri : Not too spicy but very flavourful chole were served with nicely puffed puris. Loved this dish.Khao Suye with Garlic Noodles : The coconut milk based curry was very flavorful with exotic veggies in it and was served with garlic noodles. The noodles were topped with fried garlic which I really loved. Overall, it was delicious. In desserts we had Belgian Truffle Cake which was really, really good. It was very soft, moist and chocolatey. Do try this.We also had Date Pancakes with Vanilla Icecream which was okay-ish for me.So, if you’re looking for a restaurant with a good ambiance, great food with lots of variety, do try this.

Perch is the new entrant on the busy road of Shivaji Nagar. It’s a small cute restaurant with a great ambiance, surrounded by greenery and a fresh, positive vibe. What do you need more? In a busy street or Shivajinagar. You hardly get these things in this area. Perch is a perfect space where you can come, sit, work in a calm environment and have great food/beverages side by side. Ambiance compliments the theme with bright colors and trusts me you’ll love it.It’s an all-day diner which will be soon operating 24/7. It’s open till 1:30 am right now.Let me tell you more about my picks at Perch – Beverages 1. Filter Coffee – One of the best filter coffees I had in recent times. The filter coffee you get here is strong as I personally prefer. Definitely have it. #highlyrecommended 2. Milo – This drink takes you to your childhood. Nostalgia blast in the first sip guaranteed. Milo is our childhood friend, I used to drink this every single day and trust me when I took the first sip all those memories flashed in front of me.Short Eats 1. Button Idli Thali – if you love South Indian food then definitely try this one, you won’t regret it. 10-12 pieces of fluffy soft button idlis given with coconut chutney, red chutney, podi masala, and ghee. The chutneys are outstanding you just can’t stop eating as soon as you bite into first. #highlyrecommended 2. Nano Batata Wada – Street style nano wadas given with mild cheese sauce. The wadas were really good, thin slight crispy coating filled with street style bhaji is something you miss to get in restaurants.Mini Meals – Kadhi Chawal – Gharchi kadhi with Chawal. I don’t have anything else to say about this. It’s a perfect homely dish which gives you the exact maa me haath ki taste. #recommended.Khao Suey + Garlic noodles – Creamy medium thick gravy filled with veggies which are accompanied by garlic noodles. The combination is really good and you will definitely like it.Paneer bhurji – This one was slightly disappointed as the turmeric flavor was overpowering and it changed the overall taste.Overall verdict – Perch really has the potential to become one of the best restaurants in the Shivaji Nagar area. It’s the place to meet, work or have nice food with your friends. As it’s recently opened some things were not up to the mark which we conveyed to the staff but overall it was a blast experience. Coming back soon. hungernationblog.wordpress.com

I stayed here for 2 days. So, i got the chance to have food here. Buffet breakfast was exceptionally good. There are 4-5 options like Poha, Batata Wada, Cornflakes, Idli sambar. Also, i ordered Chukundar-almond halwa, which is there signature dish. This was something different and quite scrumptious. I would love to visit this place again. Kudos
