  How’s the place?The place has a nice dining vibe serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The seating arrangments include casual and family dining. The casual set up has wooden carved chairs and table bringing in the Irani cafe look. The walls are filled with food captions and colorful graffiti images. There is a seperate family dining room where the ambiance includes, air conditioned sober room with dim lighting. The enclosed calm aura gives you privacy while buying a quality eating time. The staff is courteous and makes your choices better. The food doesn’t take much time to arrive.About the food?Chicken shorba 3.5/5Shorba is a chicken served in different cooking styles in various restaurants. Here the shorba was made of a chicken gravy which had a chicken masala, minced chicken and veggies. The consistency was thin while the flavours where also unique. The shorba was hot while served and taste helped us finish it in no time.Mutton kheema 4/5Mutton Kheema was something I was always excited about and the kheema served at thane canteen made me merrier. The masala gave away some amazing flavours. The mutton was finely minced while the kheema had a little gravy which kept the flavours intact. It was served with paav, onion, and lemon slice thus, giving options to add more flavours to it.Chicken kheema 4/5Chicken kheema consisted of a complete different flavours than the mutton one. The masala used was different. The cooking technique and the colour of the chicken kheema was totally different keeping you unsettled about the clear winner. The kheema was served hot and the quantity didn’t disappoint.End of lineA great place offering cuisines such as maharashtrian, malvani, north indian, chinese with a pleasant ambiance. Much recommended for the mouth watering kheema pav. I would love to try more of there sea food and chinese cuisines on my next visit.

  Thane canteen serves a variety of cuisines & specializes in Malwani & Maharashtrian cuisine. Visited here with one of my friends. Its a hidden gem in Thane.Recommendations :Chicken Tawa fryChicken mint garlic dryMurgh musallamFood is appetizing. Surely coming back soon to try the rest.

  Thane Canteen is located in Upvan, Thane. Today i visited here with my friend. It looks awesome from front. When i enter in to this the ambience feels very peaceful. The wall attached unique stickers and interesting food captions.Service:-When i enter in this restaurant the staff welcomed us in nice way. They are very courteous. One waiter named as Jeevan help us for selecting their special dishes and really that dishes was so awesome.Food:-In Juice we had Lemon and Pineapple. In starters we had chicken shaghai and chicken hunan sauce. In mains we had butter chicken and paneer cheese masala. And finally in desert we had chocolate sundae. Specially chicken hunan sauce and butter chicken was so tasty.Overall the ambience, staff and mainly the food was nice. I recommended to visit this restaurant once.

  Today i visited here with my friends for dinner. Ambience is lovely with good seating arrangements. They have 2 sections for seating on first floor.Service provided by Mr. Prashant was really aprreciable. He served us a well and also the service was fast. Staff was polite and friendly and also they helped us in selecting menu.Talking about the food,In drinks we took, Lemon juice and pineapple juice which was nice in taste.In starters, we ordered, Chicken shanghai and Chicken hunan sauce. Both of them was tasty. Specially Chicken hunan sauce was nice in taste.In mains we ordered butter Chicken and paneer cheese masala which was so delicious and we loved it.The finally in desserts we ordered Chocklate Sundae which was awesome in taste.Overall we had a great time here and would like to visit again

  With some nice interior this place is really nice for a party with a small group of friends. Food is good, service is okay. We tried : Kokam sarbat, which is not available everywhere, kudos. Chicken cheese dum kabab Chicken jungli tandoori Chicken cheese dum kabab was nice. Jungli tandoori was okayish Chicken kangda in main course suggested by the staff, but not impressive, quantity was good. Overall food was average. Ambiance is good. Can be a nice place for small group parties.

  Thane canteen We recently visited this restaurant. The restaurant serves u different types of food. The ambiance is very good looking. The food is good in taste. The quantity of food according to price is not worth. It’s a good place to visit with family and friends.
