We visited this place during our visit to Pune.It’s situated near by shivaji nagar St stand and is veg and nonveg resto.We ordered chicken Manchow soup,bhangra masala,chicken handi, steam rice,roti.Chicken Manchow Soup – It was ok soup although the noodles provided was not at all good and was not enough for two people as we did 1/2.Chicken Handi – It was sufficient gravy for 3 people to eat with good amount of chicken.Although the gravy wasn’t too thick or runny and was blended with subtle flavors.Bhangra Masala- The fish wasn’t fresh even and the gravy was having the same masala used for chicken.Roti & Rice – It was fresh and soft.Overall – It was a decent hotel with pocket friendly prices.Taste – 2.5/ 5Price- 3/5Ambience -2.5/5
The place does not seem clean. We saw a couple of cockroaches running around on the walls.Chicken dish we tried was okay but the veg was bad. The area inside is very stuffy with not enough fans or lights. The area outside seemed okay.Considering there are very few restaurants of different kind around the shivajinagar station, you have limited options.
Had visited Pune for work and had a quick client meeting followed by a train to catch. So just got into the first restaurant we could find. This is a simple place with mouth watering food. Got so busy in eating that forgot to click a pic. Ordered a Surmai Thali. Yummiest thali I ever had!!
Hotel Sandeep is not a fancy restaurant, but with a clean and cozy ambiance, it’s a good place for a normal day’s lunch or dinner. Pocket friendly and with a lot of items in menu, this restaurant will give you a lot of option. Non-veg items are equally good as veg items, and I can not complain about the service quality.
